Party Ideas Purgatory, Heaven or Hell, Weekend
| We had our first walk through yesterday at the Hilton Westchase and was able to layout the ballroom for Purgatory. To say we are excited would be a major understatement. This is the first year that we have been given a blank slate and can create this party the way we feel it needs to be done. We spoke with Spooker's and well, Hell is going to look like Hell. They have some great ideas and hopefully the hotel fire alarm system will let us carry them all out. If so get ready for a great look and feel. For all you saintly angelic people we are going to with the pure look and feel on your side of Purgatory. For everyone in between and just not sure where you are. We are building a dance floor, dj platform and two side platforms for all you sexxy female creatures to move to the sounds of DJ La Tribu. We are bringing in lights, lazers and bass that will make your body feel the beats of Purgatory. Plus as always at 945pm we are going to introduce this years Purgatory with a special mix that will launch this event into a frenzy. So prepare to attend Purgatory, Heaven or Hell as this year will not compare to any others. Being the 5th annual we are going out of mind with this one!! | Spoke to the hotel today. We are sitting at 28 rooms reservations which pretty much fills up the first party floor. We get to do our first walk through of the grand ballroom this week to plan out the layout the decor, dance floor, bars etc.... We are almost a month out and we starting to get excited as the event gets closer. This is definitely the spring time Halloween event of the year to not be missed. With us doing the party this year in May it will definitely be a way to kick off the summer in a grand fashion. |
| We sat down with Shannon from Spooker's Halloween wharehouse this weekend. He has some great ideas for the not so heaven side of Purgatory. Our idea is to split the room with the dance floor being the middle ground. Ms. C has some pretty creative ideas for the Heaven side. Plus Shannon is having something shipped in just for the heaven side as well. We are going all out for this years Heaven or Hell ball. Over 180 people have rsvped thus far between the sites. So word continues to spread as we continue to scheme and map out this years Ball. Which is our spring time Halloween party of the year. |
| Ticket in hand and room booked! Now all we have to do is find some costumes and we are all set. We are looking foreward to meeting some new friends and getting some decent seafood. |
| Between all the sites we now have over 70 cpls rsvped for Purgatory weekend which is at a record pace. We have also updated the site with the weblink to make hotel reservations. Confirming some other additions to the party and should have those posted in the near future. |
| Just to clear up a few questions on Purgatory. The Pre-Purgatory mixer will be at Coppia on Friday night. Both the pool party and Purgatory, Heaven or Hell main event will be held at the Hilton Westchase Hotel. We have blocked rooms at the hotel for both Friday and Saturday nights. The hotel is about a fifteen minute or less drive to Coppia. For those who are not able or do not wish to stay in the hotel block on that either night. The grand ballroom has a side entrance where you can park and walk directly into that part of the hotel as well. We will have security set up by those doors to assist you into the party. |
| The reservation code has been added to the site. Group code is DPG or Dp group. Either one will work when calling reservations. Plus a web link has been promised to make your reservations online. So hopefully we will have that in the new day or so. There is a limited number of suites as we are going to keep all group party block rooms on the same floors. So if you wish grab them early as they will sell out. More may be added as the group block expands but no guarantees. This ensures that only our Purgatory guests are on the group floors. So sorry for the delay in the group code. Just making sure that the hotel has only our guests on the party floors. |
| As promised we are making the 5th annual a weekend to not be missed. We are pulling out all the stops. As we are bringing to you four top DJ's, a first class hotel, grand ballroom, pool party and more. Plus Spooker's Halloween Wharehouse is coming on board this year to sponsor this years Purgatory. Meaning when you walk into the ballroom for Purgatory, Heaven or Hell. You will be walking into a environment unlike any other Purgatory party to date. Mix in the ever present smoking HOT Dp party guests and wellllllll. The rest is up to you to party all weekend in your own version of a Purgatory state of mind. The hotel this year will be the Hilton Houston Westchase. We are hosting the pool party and Saturday night Purgatory event at the hotel this year. No driving to or from the event is necessary. Start the party early and keep it going all night long right back to the room blocks. Plus we are cranking off Purgatory weekend with a mixer at Coppia. Which is very close to the hotel as well. | It totally depends on your version of Purgatory. As some go as angels,devils, flirty fairies, nymphs, unicorns. Yep we have seen it all overthe last four years. The main idea is to get creative. Probably goingto enlist Pilot for some creative body painting this time around. Theidea is to get wild and not mild. But again everyone has a differentversion for their Purgatory. Oh and a update on the hotel. We have a verbal approval for thecontract just waiting on the actual copy to get to us. So keepingfingers crossed we came announce all the details, DJ's (yep we willthree different DJ's this year). Well actually four as La Tribu is twobrothers. So the official Purgatory flier will be up soon and we aregoing to announce all the itinerary. |

| Okay we continue to finalize all the Purgatory Weekend details. So we are going to give you what we have so far so you can start to make your plans. May 7th and 8th-Friday and Saturday Nights-Host hotel to be announced soon as the contract has not yet been signed.
So two nights at the host hotel. The mix n mingler at Coppia on Friday night. Then we start off Saturday with a pool party and then doing Purgatory in a very big way on Saturday night. We are working out arrangements for our guests to get a discount on breakfast and will be bringing in sponsors and other amenities as well. We hope to have everything up and ready in the very near future. So spread the word as we are going to kick off the summer fun with this one. |
