May 9, 2010 8:23 PM (14+ Years) Just wanted to say thank you to all who attended the 5th annual Purgatory weekend. We added a Purgatory pool party this year and over 100 people attended. We were amazed at all the hot looking couples who attended whom we had never met before. So many new faces mixed in with the ever present Dp crowd. We had four great DJ's and the crowd definitely partied to the max. Not sure how we will top this party off next year but we are already scheming. So thank you to all who attended. We hope you had a great time and we definitely hope to see you in the near future.

May 8, 2010 2:04 AM (14+ Years) Okay so we rolled in from the meet n greet at Coppia and arrived back at the hotel . What do we find unattended? Why a security golf cart with the key in it. After taking it for a spin we decided this was a great opportunity for a photo shoot. So a few shots of well you will see. Love the hotel the welcome reception and the party atmosphere. Good thing we were nice or bad things could have happened to the golf cart. lol

May 7, 2010 6:54 PM (14+ Years) Trying to correct a little confusion as don't want anyone to miss Purgatory. All of Saturdays events for Purgatory are being hosted at the Hilton Westchase. |
May 7, 2010 10:10 AM (14+ Years) We encourage participation from all parties for Purgatory. As we call it the spring time Halloween party and a night of visual fantasy. Its not fun to show up to a Halloween party with no costume. However we are also not going to turn someone away if they are not dressed up. As quite a few people hear about the event at the last minute and have no chance to grab the necessary. In those case we just make sure that they dress to impress as on a normal club night. Otherwise no ballcaps, thug attire etc....

May 7, 2010 2:37 AM (14+ Years) I know that Erotic Boutique has them. Not sure on their locations. Its a drive but Joe Sam's in Pasadena has quite a selection and again its a drive. But I believe that Arnies party supply should also have them.

May 6, 2010 7:31 PM (14+ Years) The hotel is going to put the group block cutoff on rooms at midnight tomorrow. After that is gets to hectic trying to check people in on Saturday and trying to keep everyone the group floors. We start decorating the Heaven and Hell ballroom in less than 24 hours. So I think we can start the countdown to the weekend festivities. As always thank you for the great response to this years Purgatory weekend.

May 6, 2010 5:04 PM (14+ Years) Okay that was a really freaky video. Our vision of Purgatory is a whole lot sexier as those type creatures are getting no play this weekend. lol

May 6, 2010 7:19 AM (14+ Years) Just a reminder that the hotel is cutting off the group block tomorrow, Friday, May 7th. So if you are wanting to grab a room then tomorrow will be your last chance to get on the group floors.

May 5, 2010 7:58 AM (14+ Years) We confirmed that those whom reserved a room for Saturday that early check in will be 1pm. So just check in, drop your bags in your room and join us by the pool. The hotel will be give you a welcome letter from us, your pool wristbands and discount breakfast coupons plus whatever other goodies they put together. Also ladies many of you are members of the 'Black coat society'. Some ofyou are scratching your head right about now while others are smiling. Just a reminder that a lot of the outfits are going to be really wild. So as you stroll about the hotel lobby, parking lot etc.... just remember to join the Black Coat Society and not shock the innocent or perverted whom might start falling you trying to figure where you are going. lol As mentioned before we will have a coat check table watched by our security officer and door attendant at the entrance of the ballroom. If you have any questions, suggestions or just want to give some input that we might be leaving out. Please post it here. If you are not a member of the site and have questions. Just write us at info@desirousparty.com

May 3, 2010 5:16 PM (14+ Years) I forgot to add that the hotel discovered that there was still two suites left in the group block that had not been reserved yet. So if you are desiring a suite better grab one before they are sold out.

May 3, 2010 5:12 PM (14+ Years) We were asked and yes we will have a coat check for you ladies. As we understand that with some of the outfits you will need to be covered up as you enter the hotel or walk down from your room. For those not staying at the host hotel. There is a side entrance that will take you directly into the foyer where the ballroom is located. It is one of the revolving doorways so you will know you are in the right place. There is also ample parking in this area and will be the easiest and quickest way to get to the ballroom. Doors to the ballroom will open at 9pm. We are working on club style seating. So seating will be on a first come basis. Not everyone likes to sit during these style of parties as there is plenty to see and do. So seating will be limited to approximately 100 people. Leaving plenty of room to mix n mingle and of course dance the night away.

May 2, 2010 10:39 AM (14+ Years) For those staying at the host hotel for Purgatory. If you are checking in on Saturday. They are going to do their best to let everyone check in at 1pm. If they are running behind, just check in, grab your pool bracelets and throw your swimsuits on in the restroom. When you check in you will be given a meet n greet welcome letter from DesirousParty explaining the itinerary and other fun things. You will also be given discount breakfast coupons and we are working on discount dinner coupons also. However that has been requested by us and still waiting to get a confirmation on the dinner coupons. We will update the forum when we get more details from the hotel.

Apr 30, 2010 2:26 PM (14+ Years) Just spoke to the hotel today. As of this morning we were at 48 rooms reserved with one week to go. Which is always when the room reservations start really increasing. The hotel is keeping the group block open to next Friday, May 7th. We originally blocked 50 rooms on two group floors. So we will definitely be expanding to a third group floor giving us a total of 75 rooms for the group. Thanks to everyone for the interest, spreading the word and just the overwhelming response to this years Purgatory, Heaven or Hell. Let the count down begin.

Apr 22, 2010 9:28 PM (14+ Years) Suites are now sold out in our group block at the hotel. There is still approximately 20 deluxe rooms left in the group block. If these sell out we might be issued a few more suites but we have to go through these rooms first. As mentioned before it is our desire to keep everyone on the group party floors. That way we do not deserve any of the other hotel guest. Plus just a reminder that if you are staying in the group block you will be given complimentary pool wristbands for the pool party.

Apr 20, 2010 8:56 AM (14+ Years) Here is the latest rsvp update. Between all the sites we now approximately 140 couples rsvp'd for this event thus making it our largest one to date. Our last room count from the hotel was around 40 plus rooms but have not checked on that in a few days. We still have over two weeks to go and word continues to spread. It is going to be a fun filled exciting weekend. So if you know a upscale hot couple or two then pass the word along. As the more the merrier because this years Purgatory there will be no limits on when the party stops.

Apr 15, 2010 6:11 PM (14+ Years) Judging by the pre-pays we are going to have a great crowd from all over Texas and the U.S. We have couples attending from Austin, San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth Area, South Texas, Louisiana and also from California. Now all that is missing is couples from the east coast. This is shaping up to be a very good party weekend with lots of new faces. Which always makes for a great event as we have set up the weekend with two very good mix n mingles before the main event on Saturday night. Just a reminder that you do not have to be DesirousParty profile member to attend Purgatory, Heaven or Hell weekend. You just have to be ready to have a good time and ready to meet lots of sexxy angels, demons, goblins, ghouls and anything else you might find in the in between world.

Apr 15, 2010 1:42 PM (14+ Years) If you purchase pre-sale tickets. Your google confirmation receipt is your ticket into the event. If you loose your confirmation then no worries. As we will have all pre-pay names on a vip list and you can present your ID at the door. So no tickets will be mailed for this event.
|
Apr 12, 2010 8:41 PM (14+ Years) Just a friendly reminder that the pre-sale for the main event for Purgatory, Heaven or Hell is good through midnight on April 15th for $25,couple. After that the event will be $35 pre-sale until the day of the event which will then be $40. The other two events will stay the same rate and there is no pre-sale. We do this as the hotel charges us a rate to use the grand ballroom. So we have to pay a charge for the ballroom and to also to meet a certain amount in alcohol sales. So honestly we hope that everyone takes advantage of the pre-sale. But we understand that not everyone finds out about the party in time, has a cancellation in plans or may not desire to use the google pre-pay. Either way we wish to to pass the word along so that everyone understands and gets the info.
