| We get quite a few questions regarding NYE day and the times etc... As to the what, when and where.
After hosting a NYE party for the past 7 years. We have learned that some guests which to make their hotel reservations the week of the party. However as always we highly suggest that you do not wait that long. As the suites are already sold out and it always gets crazy with reservations the week of. The Marriott is a awesome hotel full of ambience and style. This will definitely be a fun and sexy group block that will send out the old year and ring in the new year in DP style. | The current hotel reservation list is at 58 rooms. Which leaves us 22 rooms in our three floor group block. Our discounted room rates are guaranteed through December 24th but we are trying to get them to extend that as well. We do have room to grow in our group block but the discounted NYE rates are not quaranteed after Dec. 24th.
With mentioning the hotel. Now is the time to start thinkng how you are going to decorate and stock your hotel room for NYE. Every year people go out with their mini bars, decor etc.... So far I think the massage table has the edge. | Okay here is the lastest and greatest on NYE. Between the DP site, myspace and LL there are now over 80 couples who have rsvped. Plus we are now over 50 rooms reserved in the group block. So this is shaping up to be one of our biggest NYE parties to date. So spread the word as our NYE party is going to start at 4pm at the hotel bar and keep going until the last person up turns off the lights at the hotel.

They are working on having some very cool backdrops as well. | Here is the link for the photographer who will be at the party on NYE. The owners are great people and their photography is superb. It's a classic fit for the NYE party.
The early pre-sale ended on December 1st. However we kept the rates the same as the previous two years and until 3pm on NYE, tickets are $95 a couple and at the door they will be $110. We will also be handing out raffle tickets when you arrive at the party. As we will be giving out door prizes throughout the night as well. | There is still hotel rooms available. I do not have a exact count yet on how many are left but we built the contract where we could add an additional 20 rooms if needed. Right now three floors reserved and most probably a fourth floor very soon.
The Ritz also said that they are going to have a even bigger balloon drop than last year at the stroke of midnight. The club is always top notch in their decor and treatment of the DP party guests. But this year they are going bigger and beyond. Just to give everyone a floor plan for the evening 1st Floor-
| We just had a walk thru meeting at The Ritz for the NYE party. The club is definitely going out for this years party. It's decorated in a very festive setting. Plus they have remodeled since our Halloween bash. The club has put in all new carpet, tile, a.c.'s and they have also added two dance cages in the main room of the club. So now there will be a total of three dance cages along with three dance stages plus dance floors for the NYE event.
On second thought, leave it in the freezer. | A few bullblasters to start off the meet n greet at the hotel would be nice. A nice frozen bottle of Jaegger is definitely the way to start off the NYE festivities. It makes a statement that you are going to party hard all night, not remember anything the next day and your hangover will tell you that you were the life of the party. lol
We are also working on a drink special for the meet n greet at the hotel bar but that has not been confirmed just yet. | A few points that I have failed to point out that some may already know from past DP takeover parties at the Ritz. DesirousParty guests will not be paying normal club drink prices. When we host our parties at the Ritz the club gives us discounted drink prices across the board. Plus this year Ty-Ku, Ciroc Vodka and Don Julio Tequila are the sponsors so we will also be having additional drink specials with these brands as well. For NYE, these specials are good with any waitress, at any bar or any beer well in the club. We are bringing a full NYE package to you this year.
It is also written into our group contract that the discounted rate is good for both the 30th and 31st. I will make a call tomorrow and get the problem resolved. For those who have not stayed at the Marriott atrium. This is a very beautiful hotel and they go all out decorating for the Holidays. They are very glad to have our group back with them for NYE and its going to be a great host hotel for this event. | The Marriott will not give a blanket late checkout. However I was told that as you check in you can request a late checkout. It should not be a major problem as I dont foresee alot of new guests checking in on New Years day.

Also please remember that we have reserved the entire club, all 18,000 sq. ft, which will make this a private party only for DP party guests. So you will have access to both party floors, all stages and dance floors. It will definitely be a night to remember. Plus of course we will start off the NYE festivities at the host hotel during our meet n greet at the hotel bar. So we will start early and go until the last person turns off the lights. | Just a friendly reminder for those who wish to buy the discounted pre-sale tickets for NYE. You may buy them through the DesirousParty website until midnight tonight. At the time of this forum posting we are at 50 rsvps which is way ahead of last year. So its looking to be another great NYE to remember. There are still hotel rooms in the group block. The first group floor is sold out and we are now working on the second group floor of three that we have reserved.

We will be having our official meet n greet starting at 4pm on NYE at the hotel bar which is very nice. Plus there will be a full menu available for those wishing to grab a bite to eat as well. Not sure on drink specials at the hotel bar just yet but we are working on them. The first Limo's will arrive at the hotel at 7:45pm to take you to the club for NYE. | The host hotel for this years group block will be at the Marriott. Members of the hotel management staff and DP sat down today and worked out a contract to add to the tremendous NYE package that we have put together. All standard rooms in the group block will be $99 for NYE. We will also have a select number of suites which can be booked at $129. In all we blocked 80 rooms with the option of expanding our group block if needed. All security issues were worked out and they only requested that proper clothing or cover-ups be worn when using the glass elevators, walking around in the hallways or 1st floor area. We reserved all the rooms on floors 7, 8 and 9. Once these rooms are reserved we will start on floor 6. This is a beautiful hotel with all the floors looking down into a atrium. We will pretty much have the entire hotel to ourselves with some select outside guests. As there are no other groups staying at the hotel for NYE. Therefore we can check in early, host room meet n greets etc....
