I could have focused on the food and room views but that would have not been any fun. Instead we focused on the beaches, pools, sexy views and energy of a group trip. Hope you enjoy. 

These theme nights are different from the resorts. As they are special Dp group theme nights to help distinquish who is in our group. Which makes for great ice breakers to mix n mingle. For those who wish. Each night around 930pm we will take group photos of all the theme wear outside the disco by the bar. 

• Saturday- Drop Dead Sexy- sexy, elegant or risque as you desire
• Sunday- Heavenly Night- White or Red Attire- angels, devils, nymphs
• Monday- Playboy vs. Hustler- sexy lingerie from these two lines
• Tuesday- Uniform Desirous-Naughty Nurses, School Girls, Officers, Firemen etc.
• Wednesday- Steam Punk Sexy
• Thursday- Skin Desirous (pasties and itty bitty nothingness)
• Friday Night- Glitter Ice & Glow- neon wigs, glow body paint, neon colors

We learned quite a bit from our recent trip to Pearl. Mainly that the resort management listends to our requests and makes them happen. So this gives us the ability to tweak the VIP treatment to the Dp trip quests a little bit more. 

I also posted on this in the prior trip forum but want to point this out again. Yes, we are a Houston based website. But our trip guests are like our site membership, we are from all over the world. On the last trip only three couples were from Texas and the other 37 plus couples were from around the world. No, we did not already know each other. Which is why we do mixers, pass out Dp wristbands and make it a point to meet everyone who joins us on the trip. 

Now onto that special group VIP treatment. We will once again be bringing in special Dj's to spin for the group. 

Every day from 3pm-6pm, we will have a special dj spinning poolside/ hot tub side. The last trip the resort brought in two dj's from mainstream clubs in Cancun. These guys did some awesome sets that covered all era's as they were able to mix in house, dance, old school, rock etc... 

At night we will have special group themes that differ from the resort. So easy to see who is in our group and who is not. Once again another special dj spinning in the disco. We normally meet at the lobby bar around 9pm, mix n mingle, take group photos and then at 10pm we hit the disco. 

Mixers:

Upon getting to the resort you will be given a welcome bag with Dp wristbands, coozies, Dp tattoos and perhaps some rubber duckies. We will launch them poolside or hottub side during the week. 

Saturday- April 12th- unofficial group mixer at hot tub-we will be with other resort guests- but a great ice breaker to shake the travel dust off, grab some drinks before the group theme night at the disco. 

Sunday- April 13th- Time to be set later but in afternoon time frame- this is a group mixer for Dp trip guests only. This will be a small secluded area where only couples who booked with DesirousParty can attend. We will work with management but this might be at a Penthouse, Master Suite or perhaps the Terrace. As time gets closer we will notify Dp trip guests by email the location. Space will be limited and this is a ice breaker mixer only. Great to put a name, face with a profile name. Not trying to be snobs, rude etc... as we love meeting everyone. But this is our way to give our trip guests a VIP treatment and for us to meet you without guessing who is who in a bigger setting. 

Monday- April 14th- Time to be set later but around 630pm- Hotel Lobby Bar area- Appetizers, Martini Bar, this is for everyone in our group plus anyone who would like to join us to mix n mingle. Resort management will be on hand, Dj spinning lounge style music, etc... Just a great way to mix in mingle before dinner and a nice way for other resort guests who want to meet the group, etc...

Tuesday- Group Dinner at Aprodite Restaurant- due to limited space this will be for Dp trip guests only. We are only so much room and on the last trip over 15 couples  sat down together at one long table and had dinner together. 

Wednesday/Thursday- mid afternoon foam pool or hot tub party. As trip gets closer we will narrow down this to a exact day and time. 

Add in the nightly theme nights and this will be a very fun and sexy group trip. 

We just learned that the Mexican Government put a immediate 6% tax increase on all hotel stays. This is a increase that the hotel now has to pass onto the guests. Great news is that both of our 2014 group trips will not include this new tax. As we have existing contracts and the resort is covering the extra charge. So great group rates for April and November 2014 without the tax increase.
