| We have the contact email and phone number for the dive shop if you need it. They set up some really good dives, snorkel trips and a fishing trip for us when we were there in April. Depending on the weather we plan on trying to set up a afternoon/night Catamaran cruise mid week while we are there. They are really good people at the dive shop and its a unique experience to have them on the resort. We shopped around a little while we were there and they beat all the other prices so they are honest to. Plus with the protected national reef next to the resort. It gives you one of the best experiences that you normally do not get anywhere else. | ||||||||||||
| Well they have developed a system that works for them,but they really dont change it for anything.I once tried to bribe the DJ $500 not to play YMCA for the entire week we were there........didnt work!! Having said that the staff are amazing and we always have loads of fun,but that is a product more of the people going than the resort.The beach at Ceiba is incredible and we love the pier ,which we really miss at Desire.it will be great to be able to play volleyball with out the rocks and the usuall trip to the ER for broken toes.Either way it will be great to escape the cold of Colorado and party with some fun folks.We will be there a couple of days early to get some diving in,anyone else comming in early? | ||||||||||||
| Glad you guys are joining us in November. We definitely agree on Desire and have felt that way for quite awhile. We always tell people that Ceiba offers so much more and you are treated like a special VIP guest at Ceiba. Even the landscaper crew at the resort greets you. If you have other couples that would like to join us be sure to pass the word. As the more the merrier. We are really looking forward to our trip. | At last weekends party we got a quite a few questions regarding the Ceiba del Mar trip as it will be in November. The pools are heated but being in a warm climate the day time temps are in the high 70's/low 80's. Nighttime temps are normally in the upper 60's/ low 70's. Hurricane season is over and they only average two days of rain in November. We have worked out with the resort that we are going to set up our disco inside in a area next to the pool. So we can flip it and be outside or inside in a quick minute with the theme party on however we decide. So no worries on the weather or the pool temps as it is all covered. | ||||||||||||

| We just wanted to say thank you for making what is apparently going to be another incredible group trip. Over the last two days we have taken five reservations for the group trip to Ceiba. Not everyone is a member of Dp but they have seen the trip pictures and video that we produced from the last trip to Ceiba. Its going to be a fun and sexy week. Many of you know but some may not. We were so impressed with Ceiba in April with it being gorgeous, uniquely different in the aspect that it was a vacation within a vacation. It was that great. Well we are soon to be married and cancelled honeymoon plans to return to Ceiba with the group and make it a week long wedding celebration trip. Something that we would not do at any other resort as Ceiba is to that caliber. As we are bringing in a great Dj, creating a fun and open minded lifestyle vacation with new and old friends and cannot wait to return. So thank you to everyone who is spreading the word. | There is one penthouse left as all others have been reserved. We still have master suites, jr. suites and deluxe rooms available. As the time gets closer and if people express an interest. We will work with the resort dive shop to put together a snorkeling excursion as the Nature Park Reef is located next to the resort. Meaning some of the best diving and snorkeling anywhere in the world. We have also gotten a few questions regarding the food at Ceiba. The best way to describe it is to compare it to your nightly dinner on a Cruise. The one where you dress to impress and its a multi course dinner. Well this is Ceiba but they go so over the top as you can get this at lunch and dinner if you so desire. So its not your mundane resort where they move you through a buffet line. They have their own wine room and one guest was able to purchase a bottle of a rare vintage that he had only seen one other place in the world. | The trip reservations are moving along nicely. Thus far we have 20 reservations and five master suites and three penthouses have been booked. | Yes, the pools will be heated for us in November as well as the hot tub. If you book a master suite with a plunge pool or a penthouse with a hot tub, those will be heated as well. We talked with several locals on are past trip about what the weather was like in November. And they all said it was a great time to come, in fact it is one of Cancun's busiest times of year. Typical Weather for Cancun in November is: Highs Average 84-86 degrees Lows Average 72-74 degrees Rainfall is slim to none in November as well. Average 0-10% rainfall throughout the entire month. But, just as a precautionary, the pools will be heated so we can have lots of fun in the sun and still work on our tans.....and drink lots of electric lemonades and mango margaritas! As for night time when we go into the theme parties, if they weather is chilly or windy we have several indoor avenues where we can move the party indoors.
