Mr. Dp and I cannot wait to return to Jamaica! This is my all time favorite place to visit. Jamaica is beautiful and so rich with culture. If you have never been to Jamaica, I strongly suggest you go! This gorgeous island is full of adventure!

For those who wish to add some adventure to their vacation I have listed some of the best daytime excursions in Jamaica. Of course there is plenty to do during the day on the resort as the beaches at Hedo II are superb. Not to mention all the night time activities at the resort disco, our private pool parties,and hot tub areas. Plus, our group will also be taking an optional catamaran cruise during the week.

For history buffs, I recommend Rose Hall Great House which was home to Annie Palmer, the White Witch, whose spirit some say still haunts this lavish house. Built in 1770 by John Palmer and his wife, it eventually became the residence of their grandnephew, John Rose Palmer. In 1820, Palmer married Annie, a beautiful but feisty English girl. Jamaica's Rose Hall has stunning examples of late 18th-century plantation architecture.For those avid golfers there is also White Witch Golf Course, located next to Rose Hall, operated by The Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort. This magnificent course, designed by renowned golf architect Robert von Hagge and his partner Rick Baril, is set over 200 acres of green hills, with 16 of its 18 holes looking out at the Caribbean Sea.

For those seeking a little adventure

 Bobsledding in Jamaica? You bet! We have all seen the movie Cool Runnings about the Jamaican Bobsled team. The normally cold-weather winter sport is alive and well here.From Montego Bay, your tour will take you into the rainforest to a winding course high up in the Blue Mountains. Once buckled in, you'll head down a path through a lush landscape of natural springs and exotic flora and fauna. A thrilling and unique ride, for sure.

Swim with dolphins at Dolphin Cove in Negril. Located in Lucea, Hanover, this property sits on 23 acres of beautiful ocean frontage and is the largest natural dolphin lagoon in the world.  Visitors have the opportunity to interact and "Swim With" dolphins, enjoying the thrill and love of these amazing animals.

Zip Line Tours in Montego Bay. Are you looking for a blood rushing, breathtaking view of Jamaica's forest? Black River, the longest river in Jamaica, is a great place to explore remote mangrove swamps and to catch a glimpse of native species such as crocodiles living in their natural habitats. Take a fantastic Jamaican vacation tour through one of its most beautiful regions. A typical Jamaican lunch is included before a refreshing swim in the YS Falls.  Dunns River Falls is one of Jamaica's national treasures. These falls were the location of the legendary battle of the Las Chorreras in 1657 between the English and the Spanish Expeditionary Force from Cuba . The English prevailed making Charles Pryce the first owner of Las Chorreras. For you movie buffs out there the falls and Dunns River beach were featured in the James Bond Film Dr. No. The most popular activity at the falls is to climb them and lounge and swim in the many pools created by the falls.
