Purgatory, Heaven or Hell, Weekend 2012 What is the Purgatory Weekend Event?
| We have a late edition to add to the list of amenities and the ladies will love this one. Pleasure Zone the exclusive provider in Houston of Trashy Lingerie will be setting up a booth for Purgatory. They will be located in the esplanade outside the pool area. They will be stocking lingerie, novelties, club wear and select items geared toward this weekends crowd. If they do not have it in stock on Friday they will bring it in for Saturday. This was a very late edition to the lineup and we are very glad to have them come on board. So ladies looking to add something to your wardrobe or perhaps forgot something. We have you taken care of. |
| Weather wise things are looking better for the pool party on Saturday. Either way our Dj's are ready to drop some sexy beats and a alternate ballroom is set up now just in case. But our plan is to do the pool parties and Friday nights laser show is going to be awesome. Plus our surprise light show looks like it will work out as well. People are already arriving at the hotel and checking in a day early. So it's almost party time. |
| Looks like mother nature may not want to play nice this weekend. But rain or shine Purgatory weekend will happen. As we know that our local weather forecasters have been wrong plenty here of late. But just in case we have already lined up side venue ballrooms at the hotel that we can shift the pool parties to. We also have the option to have the Dj's spin under the awning of the pool side balconies. So if necessary we have back up plans to keep the party and energy of the event high. Lots of people traveling in for this event and we are determined to not let anything stand in our way of a epic weekend. So come ready to party as we will be ready. |
| Getting this question a lot today and yes there are still rooms available for the group block. We had some cancellations that were not taken out of the system which freed up some availability. So there are 30 rooms left until we are sold out. Rooms are located on the tower side and part of the group block. Meaning all on the same floors for a great after and or pre party experience. | There are still limited rooms available in the group block. The hotel is prepared to continue to take reservations until we are at a sold out status and there will be no change in the group rate. As we realize that many people are not able to clear schedules until the last minute. Pre sale discounted tickets will be available until June 7th at midnight. |
| If you are wanting to attend the Purgatory Main Event in the Grand Ballroom you will be able to treat it like a normal event and just show up and pay the cover charge. However we also created a single female all event pass at a discounted price where you could choose to attend whichever or all of the events you chose to. We did not do individual pre sale pool tickets as we wanted to keep these events between 200-300 people and only offered them in the packages. With the Saturday night grand finale we are set to entertain well beyond that in the grand ballroom. As we are prepared for a record crowd this year. We currently have over 250 rsvps on the sites. |

Had our
meeting with hotel management today to layout the design for the Purgatory main
event in the grand ballroom. If you have attended or heard about the annual
Halloween party that we host every year. Then this is a good visualization for
Purgatory. Costumes, sexy people, high energy dance lighting, superb sound and
a upscale venue that will be hosting the perfect party weekend. Party guests
will enter the ballroom walking thru a large cemetery gate. Once inside guests
will decide to sit on the heaven or hell side of the ballroom. Middle ground
will be the dance floor where devils, nymphs, fairies, angels will come
together in one sexy body of motion to the beats of Dj O. Hence the creation of
a erotic summer Halloween party. We created the pool parties to be modeled
after something you would find in Las Vegas/South Beach. If you cannot attend
one of these events then definitely make plans to attend the main event. If you
love to meet new people, dance the night away to great music or just sit back
and people watch. The grand finale will the perfect way to launch off your
summer. We are not doing a pre sale for individual tickets to the ballroom
event. But no worries as we will have staff on hand to check the ladies coats
and get guests arriving only for the Purgatory main event into the party
quickly. Plus we will have a full bar set up outside the ballroom for those
that like to smoke, take a breather etc.. Then a massive bar set up just inside
the main entrance to the ballroom. So the perfect spot to hang out and meet
others. Plus we will have a erotic balloon artist on hand making some very
creative creations for you. After the party the private after parties start. So
if you did not get a room and decide to at the last minute. The hotel
front desk will be prepared to handle walk up reservations as well. |
| Friday nights lounge mixer is dress as you desire. No certain color or theme. So as sexy as you want or as casual as you want. Just come ready to dance where you stand as Dj Dvnt has been working on his set for the last three weeks. |

| Just to let everyone know we are working on the opening night Nyx pool party to set the precedent for the entire weekend. We are bringing in multiple lasers, a industrial fogger and a few other surprises to open the weekend with. Not to mention two infamous Dj's for the pool party and then Dj Dvnt takes you into the witching hour with the opening night lounge party. So come ready on Friday to party like maniacs as we are bringing the energy to launch Purgatory weekend. |
| This is a excellent question and one that we were getting ready to post a topic on. The hotel is bending over backwards to accommodate our group as they do not normally cater to such events. But over the last year they have realized what a classy upscale crowd we attract and management is looking forward to the upcoming Purgatory weekend. As they have been preparing for this event over the last few months with numerous meetings. Everyone will get a welcome letter upon checking into the hotel. On the letter we will have some do's and don'ts. We just ask everyone to basically use common sense (not being sarcastic) and remember that this is a corporate hotel and we will have to abide by their rules, city and state laws. Meaning no nudity in public places. What goes on behind closed doors is to your own level of fun. You cannot be topless in the pool, ballroom etc.. If you are roaming the halls please remember to cover up to some degree. The hotel understands what style of party this is, the theme etc...They know we are there to party and let our hair down so to speak over a great weekend of fun. They will be putting a coat check outside the ballroom. Pasties are acceptable as part of your attire in the ballroom. As is full body paint etc.. Only our group will be in the group block. So the hotel understands that the parties start early and go late. The hotel also understands risque attire and that the group is here to have fun. Just please remember to cover up to some degree when in public places such as the elevators, lobby area, esplanades etc.. One last foot note is the after parties. We let everyone in the group blocks host their own after parties if they so desire. We bring to you four great events and we let you decide on your own after party and your own level of fun. We have found that this works best as the guest can amp up his or her own late night fun. If anyone has any other questions do not hesitate to let us know. As we are here to keep everyone informed. |

| Update: Please Read While it is not necessary to book a hotel room to attend the Purgatory weekend of events. Many do as its the perfect getaway weekend. With all events happening at the hotel this year. There is no drinking n driving. Just a weekend of partying with the convenience of having your room in the same venue for those after parties. The response to Purgatory has been overwhelming. With tickets sold to couples from across the nation, Canada and Mexico. We are now well over 130 rooms reserved in the group block and have a total of 175 rooms available to us. Meaning that Purgatory, Heaven or Hell weekend is almost sold out of rooms. We are not going to over sell this event as we want everyone to have a great weekend experience. Only so many event weekend passes will be sold. Once we feel that we cannot handle the crowd in a efficient manner we will sell out this event. We are prepared to sell 200 weekend passes (combination of Full Passes and Saturday Only Passes). If we reach this number we will sell out the pool parties, mixers and only allow X amount of walk up cover charges for the main event. So we highly suggest that if you know you are going to be at this event we request that you purchase your event passes and make your reservations for the remaining rooms. As we do not want anyone left out of this event and we are trying to get the word out in advance. |
| We are proud to announce that H3lium Dj DropCap will be joining Dj Seismyc on the decks on Friday Nights Nyx Pool Party. These two will bring a epic level of music energy to an event that is already over the top. So come ready to party in Desirous fashion. Plus do not forget that immediately after the pool party Dj DVNT will start spinning in the Sundance Lounge keeping the party atmosphere going until 2am. |
| We get this question quite a bit every year. First and foremost we are not making a religious statement. We like to call Purgatory weekend a Summer Halloween style event. Pool parties and mixers amping up the energy leading into the main event, Purgatory. Take the idea of the popular lingerie fashion show with angel or devil
wings added in. Then think all things you might see in Purgatory such as
unicorns, fairies, devils, angels in all states of dress or undress.
It's a night of costumed erotica and nothing is to tame or to wild. The concept theme was brought to us 7 years ago by some good friends. The first year it was beyond crazy and attracted a U.S. abroad audience. It definitely set the bar high on that first year. This year we accompanied the main event with parties leading up to it. Adding two pool parties, two mixers and two nights of after parties that we let the party guests host themselves in the privacy of their own rooms. (note: it is not required that you reserve a hotel room to attend the parties) Let us also not forget that we add in 6 renowned high energy Dj's who love to make the female body move. Each pool party will be uniquely different with four different Dj's spinning. The Friday night pool party will be a lazer light show spectacular. We are also attempting to create something awe inspiring and if we pull it off. Oh but wow as this one will leave you talking all weekend. Then for the grand finale we take over the 8500 sq. ft grand ballroom. You enter the grand ballroom through a cemetery gate. Should you go the left side of the ballroom or to the right. On one side is hell and the other is heaven. In the center is Dj O welcoming you to the middle ground where we all come together on the dance floor. This year there will be one massive bar set dead center in the grand ballroom. Multiple bartenders and bar attendants to attend you. For those who like to smoke. We will also have a bar set up outside the grand ballroom to handle any overflow. Cashiers will also be at both bars. At 2am for many they have crossed over to the other side and mixed with all types of creatures of Purgatory. We then exit and many will party to the sun comes up as the after parties of Purgatory are infamous. So for many who wonder what is Purgatory weekend. I hope that we described it perfectly.
