Is the chat session still planned for this evening? If so, what (CST) time? Regards, and see you all next week. |
We dont normally pack tennis shoes but after two trips to Hedo without them. We are now suggesting that you bring a pair if you plan on any activities outside of the pool. On most of the excursions you will want a pair and very possibly just one pair of jeans if you are going to ride horses, four wheelers or the jungle canpoy tour. The weather looks great for our trip so pack plenty of sunscreen as you will burn fast. |
central time zone at 8pm. Sorry, as I did not realize that I forgot that. |
MUAH! Ms. DP | I agree with you.... we will have a varity so hopefully everyone will be pretty much happy with the selection! I will be drunk 99.9% of the time so... Who am I to say... I probably will not even realize there is music ..lol
As for music, my Ipod is 30gb and I've barely scratched the surface of its capacity because I only have about 2,000 songs on it right now. I'm a few years older than the majority of the crowd so what I have on my Ipod tends to gravitate towards classic rock but I've also got alot of modern rock, reggae, some jazz and even torch-stuff like Sinatra and Harry Connick, Jr. In any case, it looks like Mr. and Mrs. DP will have an Ipod with some of the modern techno dance stuff that I probably lack and their Ipod will dock with my Bose speaker system which I will bring. Now, perhaps, somebody can bring some hip-hop on an Ipod and we'll have the music covered at the Quad. In any case, I'm pretty sure that our group can select better music around the pool than Hedo will select for us so bring your Ipods with what you like. |
We primarily play Hip-Hop at the parties with a touch of techno later in the night. So if its current hip-hop we probably have it. We do try to stay away from hardcore rap where every other word is profanity and who killed who. lol But if its cool dance hip hop then we will have it. |
We are bringing a I-Pod with over 1,000 songs on it plus a mini 2gb flash hard drive with the vast majority of songs that we play at DP parties. Plus for you hard rockers, Mr. DP always burns some of the latest rock hits that are on the radio. We will also have our laptop and some blank cd's as well to do some burning. |
One thing we're bring this year is my Ipod and a Bose Sound Dock. Everybody's familiar with the storage capacity of the Ipod but the Sound Dock puts out an amazing sound for such a small package. While I don't want to presume that my musical tastes are the same as anybody else's or that my musical spectrum is superior to Hedo's piped-in music, I have my Ipod loaded with lots of stuff including everything from rock to reggae and I suspect that I can probably provide more popular lounging music than Hedo. So, if anybody has any requests for music around the pool or beach, daytime or evening, let me know and I'll load it on the Ipod if I've got or if I can get it. |
