Chat Room What Happened Between DP and TMZ?
We have known Mr Dp since the days of Hedo Houston. In that time we seen many clubs and many couples come and go. The bottom line is that running a club is a volitale business. Some make it and some dont. It is rediculous to think that Dp had anything to do with the clubs demise. | ||||

| Thanks for all the posts in support of DP. GentleNibbles is a great informative site. We have them on our links page so be sure to check them out if you have not. The fake profile that was created on the site comes back to the i.p. address of Shane D., who we last knew to be the marketing director of CT. Not sure what capacity he is in now with the company. But this would explain the intentions of some if not all of the anonymous and fake posts on this site as well as the internet. I only post this in hope that we can agree to disagree and the harassment campaigns will stop. However this has been ongoing for over a year so I am not naive. I dont wish this to be a bashing forum or to stoop to lower levels. But facts or facts. I do realize that not all business owners get along nor do people. But perhaps we can keep it on a adult level and keep it out of the gutter. As its not necessary to pretend to be someone else to incite others, then step back and fade into the background. Nor is it necessary to bash other people, their styles or looks to bash this site or other clubs to cause discord. Not saying this is all one person. But such tactics should stop as others get hurt when it sometimes is only intended for one club, site or person. | ||||

| Some people "get" what life is supposed to be about...others, like the original poster, really have no clue at all. Instead of bettering themselves, they like to drag others down in the mud with them. If you (original poster) want an opinion on marketing, negative advertising does not work with the lifestyle. You are trying to sell a product. Why not make your product better in lieu of wasting tons of time creating fake profiles/"conversations" on craigslist/making fake reviews about clubs/etc. That wasted time could be used to help better your product. People are attracted to positive people. I know that we are and most if not all of our friends are. Maybe the original poster should think about some of this next time they create a fake profile and drama. But, I seriously doubt that someone that spent so much time and effort would care what any of us had to say... | ||||
| This is coming from Mr. DP. Many of you know me and for those who do. They know that I do my best to keep drama away from the site as this is all about fun. I have known about these posts all over the net for months. Some will say to let this post stay on the site may not be a good idea. However its time to step up as it has gotten old and the person never stops. First in reference to the profile who posted this. This is of course a fake profile that we have known about since it was created. It was created by management of another site. We are not naming the site yet or the person as we have placed a phone call and we are waiting for a response to see if the games will stop. Secondly there is not a problem between TMZ and DesirousParty. I just got off the phone with the owners. Their profile is still on the site as is their club reviews, forum posts etc... We simply decided to take a break in hosting parties with a agreement to look at the situation again in the near future. No drama, no issues, no nothing. Thirdly and most important. If this person would spend as much time as he does slandering DesirousParty, creating fake profiles, blogging fake blogs, etc.... as focusing on their own site, focusing on their members and focusing on its marketing. As I requested again tonight on my phone call. We at DesirousParty want to be left alone to focus on our site, parties, trips etc.. We dont harass them as we would like the same respect. DP was created to enhance the party experience, meet others, chat or blog about whatever. If some do not like the site or the parties. We totally understand and we do the best that we can. However we understand that what we provide is not for everyone. But we as DesirousParty hosts like the site, parties, trips and all the great people that we get to meet. I guess others dont like this fact. Oh and thanks to all who have and will post to this blog. I may decide to keep this up for a few days and then will probably get tired of the b.s. of it all and delete it. lol If you are not tired of reading yet. Then I am attaching a response that I posted earlier today on the GentleNibbles.com site. Which by the way is a great information, blog site that I suggest that you check out. With being a party group and a site. DesirousParty tries to walk a fine line all the time. With so many sites out there we have tried to design the site where it appeals to not only the true "Lifestylers" but also couples or single females who are on the outside looking in. For some, other than some sexxy talk in the bedroom or a few unspoken fantasies it has gone no further than that for them. We want to bring the new members in and not do a full assault on their senses where one if not both run for the hills. Basically bring them into a venue where they can meet, greet , mix n mingle and develop their own boundaries. Now to members who have been in the lifestyle for awhile. This may seem boring, slow paced or not their style. We bring in alot of new couples to every event who just want to see what its like, set their own pace and go from there. Some may not dip their toes in any of the lifestyle water ever and some may take their own time which could be weeks or months. But along the way alot of great friendships are made and if one is patient then who knows. I would also like to point out that the word Lifestyle does not mean any certain style. Each person has their own version. Its a age old question and a age old difference of opinion. Some couples are soft swap and some couples are full swap. At the end of the evening these two are more than likely not going to agree on their boundaries. The same goes with couples where the female is bi or bi-curious. But in the end everyone is in the lifestyle. But again if you have been in the lifestyle for awhile you are not going to be on the same level as everyone else. You just have to be respectful of their limits. With all of that being said. I never intended the DesirousParty site to be a copycat of the other Lifestyle sites. It was intended to be a information site. Over time at the requests of others I added profiles, email, im, chat and photo galleries. It started as a small project and grew with no real big floor plan of where we wanted to go. But one thing I was determined to not do was to not copy everyone else. I do agree that the site has alot of new couples who are new to all of this. Some come into the events just to see if its what they have talked about in private and if it fits into their limits. For the members of DesirousParty I would like to bring attention to the fact that there is a house party section. It is only available to members. You create and control your own party admin. You invite your own guests and also control the photo gallery for your event. Any party member can upload pics but you are the one who approves them. Now for my last point which is Lastrada. We chose Lastrada because it was centrally located in Houston. Lastrada has a great Italian menu and they have a ultra lounge on the second level that they are not using except when they have a overflow of patrons. We are able to bring in our own dj's, re-design the layout for every event if we choose and Lastrada has some very nice hotels nearby. After 10pm the restaurant patrons are headed out the door and we have the place to ourselves. I do not plan on ever doing to risque of themes there. I vision it to be more of a mix n mingle, dance the night away, mix n mingle venue. Which is why our Drop Dead Sexxy Saturdays is our signature event. I will leave the risque events for the other venues that DP hosts at. Lastrada is a great place to meet the other couples and if you so choose disappear to a nearby residence or hotel which quite alot of our patrons have been doing. Plus from the party photos you can tell what goes on there is the same thing as the other LS venues. My main goal and vision is to keep our site and events interesting, tantalizing and new. Something everyone who is in the lifestyle wants. I put alot of work into the site and events and I try my hardest to keep everyone happy. I understand I cannot always do that but I do my best. Whew, now if someone can be bring me a nice rum n coke with lime I can sit back and relax for a while. If you are still reading thanks for taking the time to let me vent and explain. | What is funny and sick at the same time...is that anyone with half a brain can figure out that the above "conversation" is between one, maybe 2 people max. There are so many holes in that "fairy tale" that I could write a discertation counteracting each and every one of their "facts". The bottom line with these immuture couples is that they don't realize the damage that they are doing to the whole lifestyle. These type of untruths are the reason many newbies are scared to dabble in the lifestyle. The sad part is that these people hide behind their computer and won't show there faces. Cowards is the only word I can think of to describe these losers. I could go on and on and on...and call these people out in public, but I'm not going to stoop to their level. They know who they are and have to live with themselves. Mods, you can delete this message if you think it crosses the line...but, I'm just tired of all of this BS. | We were doing the "google" for Temptation and DP to try and get to the Temptation Club website as we did not know the web address ( www.temptationhouston.com is what we know - now) and came across a bunch of junk from craigslist bashing DP. Pretty low to do it in an open forum where the DP principals could answer and respond. Also, it is saying TMZ is about to close? Can anyone verify that? Is that the word going around out there? Well, the longevity of TMZ is certainly in question considering the new
club "Temptation" is opening up right down where Radiance was and is
rumored to be at least partially "owned" by DP...(something to laugh at
by itself)...and since they promise to bring in the "Young and Sexy"
crowd which TMZ just isn't able to do anymore, we'll see how it all
plays out....

In fact it is going stronger than ever! It is always packed on the weekends, and business is going well. The club is even expanding to open another night of the week. I've sat by and watched and laughed at every one of the posts here about DesirousParty.com a/k/a Desirous Party "Group" and their lack of knowledge and results when it comes to their "club promotions" capabilities. Let's re-cap here.. They have SHUT DOWN every club they have ever promoted at..that's right, every club they tried to promote is now shut down or well on its way. Think: Encounters - CLOSED Radiance - CLOSED Crome - CLOSED Opus - CLOSED Iniquity - CLOSED TMZ - ½ way closed. I hear its only a matter of months, and NOW, they are suddently going to be the "headline" promoters at some new club called Temp Ta Tion in the same location where Radiance was, which is may I remind you only a shopping center walk away from TMZ - whom they royally screwed over by taking their members and ruining TMZ's New Years Eve Party (some people you just can't help) If I club owner won't listen, what can you do? So now these "new owners" at the "old Radiance" Think a click group of "DP" people are going to be able to do anything to draw NEW business to their club..not hardly. I give it 3 months and they will be gone as well. He can hardly pay to keep his own website operating at this point since he makes no money on club promotions, shuts down the clubs he does try to work with and/or gets thrown out because he doesn't bring results.... Why not simply ask yourself, why are on earth is a legitimate club promoter with all these connections having to host his "events" on the upstairs patio at LaStrada - come on. Perhaps this new club should open a Mexican restaurent instead of a club...LMFAO Afterall, DesirousParty can't promote any of their events on any legitimate lifestyle site anymore (not on CT, SDC, LL or any others) because they are after all attempting to compete by having their own lifestyle community - which is by itself laughable, because if you spend any time on the back end of their site you know that more than 70% of the "profiles" they have in their directory haven't logged into the site in well over 6 months and the 30 or so "new" profile members they get each month don't ever return or they aren't from the "houston area". In fact, if you do any type of examination of the changes that have been made to the site lately you realize quickly that they are separating themselves from the "lifestyle" and "swinging" and are now a NightLife group - whatever the hell that means. We have been to a number of Desirous Party events, but being from Austin its not as easy to get out as it once was especially since they only hold events in Houston now. I see this from two view points. Are they club promoters or an online community. If they are club promoters - they have failed miserably. Every club they have ever promoted at is now closed or about to be closed. So they didn't bring any good business to the establishment. In fact it looks like they have also hurt the only club that would do business with them in Houston which is TMZ by hurting their NYE party. And now they are hosting events in a mexican restaurent? Are they an online community? If they are - then they are devaluing the business of the online communities they were a part of the the past 4 years by offering the same services for free now. Not could business. So its no surprise that the desirous party group has made enemies both in the club circuit by being nothing more than a financial drain to the clubs (and not actually bring them ANY new clients) and two by devaluing and stealing business away from online communities. While I understand the desirous party group not wanting their current members to promote external events hosted at other clubs on the same night because it costs them money, deleting their account or hiding / censoring the posts on the forum or in the members private mail box is the same thing Desirous Party gripes about when bitching about the other online communities on their website. So - if that is the practice you have Desirous Party then you can't bitch about other websites engaging in the same practice,and if you do then it means you are in fact being hypocritical and biased in your statements about other sites. It will indeed by interesting to see where this site goes from here now that they have no party venues in Houston,and no online communities from which to glean new members. They have no web presences whatsoever and now are saying that they are "not a lifestyle" site. Definition is the key to marketing, they have a lot of work to do... *************************** Wow! This was certainly very eye opening for us...we were "recruited heavily" from another site (even got their friends to write us too) to join and create a profile so we could RSVP to their events on their site, and once we attended one event were basically completely ignored by the management and "show girls" who work for them...we even had friends rsvp to one event and their rsvp was removed and their profile "disappaered" after they mentioned that they were attending a NYE event at TMZ club..no warning, no nothing, just log in didnt' work any more, their forum posting and review of club tmz "disappaeared" and they couldn't get a response anymore from the "webmaster" / contact person..so we deleted our account on the desirous party website, but alas, it didnt' really disappear, its still there! AND we cannot login to delete it ourselves... sounds like some groups need to quit being two faced about things or else shut up about other site's practices, cause from what i can tell from the forum postings they have left online, just about every legitimate lifestyle site out there has either thrown them off or wont let them promote their events anymore... Date: 2009-01-07, 11:03PM CST My hsuband and I tried a RSVPing to several events they had posted on myspace, they were all removed, and they wrote us online on myspace and told us we were not DP material...we are a very prifessional mixed mexican / african american couple...we also tried making a profile on their site, but it never got "activated"... Re: Desirous party They are just a bunch of 'poser's and wannabe models and porn actresses who get together to snub their nose at other people. And the main cronies they have had for such a long time are now getting fat and its getting harder to hide their pictures...think JLo ass turns to jelly belly - - - LOL They want to pretend they don't censor or read private emails but they do and they discriminate. And you are right about the guys all being gay-ish...many of them are so gay, there is no wonder their wives and girlfriends would rather participate in girl piles to get off. And what is funny is we have met at least 3 couples on their site who are putting together their own websites to compete with them. Sexxy couples was one of them and they didn't last very long. WYSIWYG has a myspace page called Erotique and they are stealing members for their party group but they have been doing that for months now. It goes on and on...but like they say, what goes around comes around...They not only removed all the forum postings and links to the sexxy couples site which they touted for so long but even deleted the accounts of its management and owners without a word. What is up with that....They speak from both sides of their mouths... Oh you see how their "upscale" members are just clamoring to attend their "parties" at the upstairs of a local mexican restaurent, LOL - they have made so many enemies its amazing they still exist. Why else would anybody claiming to be a lifestyle organization name themselves "desirous party". The term "desirous party" is actually a longstanding term in the swingers community dating back to the 1950's meaning the "desirousparty" who is the 1/2 of a couple who wants to swing while the other 1/2 of the couple doesn't want to swing - they call that person the hold-out...Look it up! Their name says it all - they don't know what they are!
