Latest Purgatory weather update from our friendly meteorologists.
1. Most model guidance shifted east overnight that focuses the risk of landfall along the central LA coast (90 ) and away from the Texas coast (10 )
2. The storm has been slow to develop due to unexpected strong wind shear and even though we don't have s week defined center, confidence is increasing and favors a central LA coast landfall on Saturday.
3. The combination of anticipate storm consolidation and higher confidence in a more east track four-day into LA lowers chances of storminess across SE TX and the Houston area this weekend. A few scattered t-storms are possible Fri/Sat afternoon, but impacts will most likely be brief with partly cloudy skies, highs in the mid-90s, and light north to northeast winds of 8-12 mph expected. Chance of rain 30 ...but some of the models are trending dry all weekend.
So here is the latest and greatest and we are prepping for Day 1 with finishing stage build out, light and sound checks and all that fun stuff. lol See everyone soon.
