| Ditto to DP.. we hate the smell as well and think Coppia does a great job at keeping it down. Just an FYI to let Coppia know if they dont know already, they make whats called smoke scrubbers that are dedicated units for removing cigarette smoke. Only problem is they are essspencive... |
| I agree with with the previous post ten times over. We don't smoke so nothing worse than coming home from a venue and smelling like stale cigarette smoke. Which is why we talked to Coppia a few months back about the problem. The clubs a/c guy was giving them the run around about his fixes to the ventilation system. About three weeks ago they had the a/c ventilation system redone and it now has a charcoal filter ventilation system. It greatly reduces the cigarette smoke in the air as well as keeping the club from smelling like stale cigarette smoke. We actually came home from the Essence of Red party without the smell in our clothes and people were smoking inside the club all night. |

| It all depends on what you are looking for. Houston only has a few lifestyle clubs ( that are worth attention ). Just to name a few Club Coppia Temptation TMZ However each club draws its own unique cliente. Here is review of each Club Coppia tends to get a younger crowd and caters to more of the gateway crowd ( those who enjoy the energy of the lifestyle, but might not consider themselves a lifestyle couple ) This makes it a great place for new faces, and no pressure. Music and dance floor is good. But on busy nights when DP is hosting a party the bar staff might be a little slow. Venue is a Cash Bar Temptation is the biggest of all of them. But its so large the place may feel empty at times. You could have 500 people in there and it still wouldn't feel full. Temptation also has a VIP area that is sectioned off and private rooms for lounging / whatever. Its been over a year since I have been to temptation, so I am not sure as to the quality of the crowd. Though I do run their website, and they seem to get a lot of out of town inquires, and quite a few people emailing after a night there, complimenting the venue and saying they will return. Venue is a Members Only BYOB. You would have to visit their website for more information. TMZ has been around for a while. Club has a good dance floor and lights, music is also pretty good. They also had two large 10 person hot tubs. They have a loyal following of LS customers. Though the crowd tends to not be as youthful as Coppia's. It is a LifeStyle Club, and when you walk in you can expect to be treated as so. venue is a BYOB members Only club. There might be a few other smaller clubs, but from what I hear the crowds are either small loyalists that have been in the LS since the 70s, or they are inconsistent and sometimes include Single Males. Basically not worth the trouble. If anyone has more info on these or other clubs feel free to share. |
| Besides Coppia for a LS club what are recomendations people have. Music preferance is hip hop/RB Top 40. Mixed couple. This will be are 2nd time out and just want to know what others recommend. Thanks so much |
