Party Ideas The Mystery Zone
| Being one of the host couples for Desirsousparty I (mia) am always running around taking pics and talking to new people. I do not get the chance to meet all the hotties out there so please if you do see me or my better half stop us. We understand where some of you may think that we (dp) are all those ugly words....but truely are not. The host couples including Mr. Dp try to say hello to as many as possible. Like stated before, we WELCOME everyone to come over and party with us. |
| We have heard that word for several years now. Plus people referring to us as pretty people, stuck ups etc...... But we invite anyone and everyone to our site and to our parties. TMZ goes out of their way to set up a designated area for whomever is hosting a party on that particular night. Its a great idea that we have been using for years now. We invite anyone and everyone to come and hang with us. However we do understand that some couples new or old wish to remain discrete or just hang with their significant other and not be bothered by anyone. So anytime you see one of the host couples or another couple that helps out DP. Be sure to say hi, hello and just mingle with us. We always like to see new smiling faces. Because thats why we started the site in the first place. Again thanks for all the comments. |
We think it is important as a DP "group" we try to not be "cliquish". It has come to our attention in the past that alot of people think that the DP party group acts this way. We tell people we totally understand because when we attend a party it is just like hanging out with your friends at a bar you tend to hang out with your friends. We feel that most people do take the time to meet other but it just sent up a red flag when someone suggested a designated area for the DP crowd. This will surely send the wrong signals to non-dp members who might be turned off by this idea. We want to also add that this in no way is an attack on anyone on the site, it is purely what we have been told and how we feel. |
| Just a little input on DesirousParty hosting parties at TMZ. The owners and managers at TMZ have gone above and beyond to welcome the DP group. There is a designated section for our group at every event that we host at TMZ. Its the raised section in the main part of the club. There is couches, tables and a dance pole. Its located at the back of the club in the main area. The section is there for whomever is hosting a party on that particular night. We welcome anyone to come up and hang with us as many do. I would also like to add that TMZ has a very good light system for the dance floor. Lazer lights, dance track lights and a fog machine to just name a few of the features. Its a great system. | IF you have any strong opinions on TMZ please submit a review in the nightclubs section. I think TMZ has the most room for improvement. Alot of the decor and the layout has too much of the 80s feel.. If they were to improve the layout I think they would do pretty well. IQ on the other hand is nice, but its negatives ( smaller, no parking, BYOB ) are out of their control. Neither club has the 100% polished feeling, but then again this is houston where its just good enough. It would be nice if there was a real polished club like they have in vegas. Of course the other qualities of Vegas clubs ( stand in lines for hours, expensive cover, and drinks, being nickeled and dimed for everything ) I could do without. |
