Party Ideas Tex Ren Fest
| We are still planning on going on the 29th to the Celtic Christmas. Not sure what is a good time for everyone but we will plan on meeting near the bar area around the Jousting arena. For us this will be a informal kind of meet n greet. We can hang out for awhile near the jousting area and then I sure that everyone will be happy to roam and take in the sites. Which I am sure there will be quite a few. |

| Hmmm, sounds like the joust area might be a good place to meet then. Where there is rowdy people, a bar and jousting. How can you go wrong with that? |
| We may have to run into town for this one again too. We went the first weekend this year and had a great time.....a good meeting point could be a specific time at the chapel with the tall steeple covered in morning glory vines or the bar area right across from the joust area where all the rowdy drunks are...sometimes it can be hard to find a seat there but its def. the rowdiest crowd there with lots of adult fun and not to mention where most of the festival characters hang out. |

| I would suggest you google it. Its far better if you see their website with the pics, etc... But its basically a festival celebrating the time period when there were kings, queens, knights, peasants etc...Lots of re-enactment of jousting, sword fighting, arts, crafts, food. I know I am not doing it justice so be sure to look at their website. |
| Not sure what is the best plan of action on this one. As I havent been in over ten years. So I will lean on the advice of others. Not sure if there is a place to meet in a central area after you get in. Such as a place to get some refreshments (alcohol) and go from there. |
We went once with our kiddos, but would LOVE to go again without (gotta love grandparents :D ). Nov 29th sounds really good for us. would we setup a meeting place and time so we can all enjoy it as a group? |
| We were thinking about going to the Ren Fest as we just had friends go yesterday and they had a blast. I think the last Saturday, November 29th would be very cool. Its the weekend after Thanksgiving and the theme is Celtic Christmas. Everyone should be tired of their family by then, lol and be ready to get out of the house for some fun. Plus it will get everyone in the Christmas spirit of sorts. So not sure if that weekend would work for anyone but we are going to try and go that Saturday. |
