I'm On a Boat- Exumas Cay Islands- Live Aboard Recent Review of our Live Aboard Yacht Cruise Ship

John and Sheila from Dream Plesure Tours, recently ventured to the Bahamas to tour the Yacht that we will be cruising on for our group cruise set for July 2017. Here is their review and after reading this our anticipation is that much higher for this trip. 

A week ago, John and I were able to travel to Nassau while the Aquacat was in dock. We spent a few hours with the crew and touring the ship. Let me say first that I was incredibly impressed! The ship is phenomenal! It is much larger and more open than I had anticipated! Every state room has an ensuite bathroom – and honestly, they’re quite large! The rooms were almost as large as most cruise ship staterooms that I have been in! Each stateroom also has plenty of closet space and a mini fridge and large windows.

The common areas of the ship are all very nice and comfy with plenty of seating and lounging areas! There are plenty of lounge chairs to sunbathe and lots of outdoor seating areas. The Ship boasts 2 bars – one is full service and the other is a serve yourself. There’s also 3 types of locally brewed IPA on tap. We were able to taste this and it was very high quality. They included a light, a dark and a flavored beer on tap at both bars. They also include white and dark rum, vodka, white wine, red wine and multiple mixers. They assured us that we can each bring our favorite alcohol on board for the trip and can store in our state room or at either bar.

They have a full service kitchen galley and all the staff assured us that the chefs on board are phenomenal cooks. They said you definitely won’t go hungry! There are meals served 3 times a day – either cooked in the kitchen or on the outdoor grill. There are snacks and fresh fruit available all day long as well. And, if the divers are able to catch lobster or fresh fish, that can be cooked up as well!

They offer 26 dives throughout the week and you can participate in as many of them as you’d like. They also have many other exciting options. They have 2 rigid inflatables and 1 tow behind fishing and excursion vessel on board. They can arrange snorkeling, deep sea fishing, beach days, an evening beach bon fire or provide you with a kayak or paddleboard if you’d like. And, it’s all included!

We asked the hard questions about this being a Lifestyle friendly takeover. They are completely okay with our group! We can be completely nude pretty much anywhere but  the dining room. Though, we do need to be respectful of the crew and take sexual activities to our state room or wait till evening when the crew retires.

The best part of this ship is definitely the crew! The captain is wonderful and all the crew we met were friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and well cared for. I can’t say enough nice things about this crew or the ship! We loved it.
