| The restaurants around this part of Houston are amazing. Any type of food you desire. Look us up at the pool party and we will give you some suggestions. We still have a few rooms left for those who need to make a last minute reservation. Limos will pick everyone up starting at 9pm near the side entrance near the hotel bar (pool area). Its the covered awning area with the semi circular drive. |
| We will be arriving tomorrow afternoon for the pool party but we are trying to plan for dinner, we haven't lived in Houston in ten years so we don't know the good restaurants in the area. Any suggestions? |
| Gary Booth, Dream Pleasure Tours, will be at all three events Purgatory weekend. He will be set up near the entrance to the party and signing up those who wish a chance to win a $300 certificate toward this November's Wild on Ceiba del Mar trip. Plus he will be showing the Ceiba video that we made along with pictures from the resort and answering any questions that you might have. | The hotel contacted us today and said that they had a few cancellations earlier in the week and forgot to take those out of the mix. So booked three rooms today but we still have between 5-10 left in the group block. So they said that as long as there are rooms left in the group block they will take walk ups and last minute reservations without raising the room rate. Plus they promised to have drink specials in the hotel bar for the group during the mixer and pool party as well. |

| There are 24 rooms left in the group block. After those rooms are gone we will be at a sold out status. Unlike other group blocks we are not going to add more rooms. As we have a whole section of the hotel just to our group. Giving it privacy and a VIP feel. Adding more rooms would mean we have to expand into the other section and mix the group. So with a week to go we are nearing a sell out so grab a room while you can. As this is going to be a great three event weekend. | Got a few questions last night and wanted to make sure that everyone knows the hotel/event situation. You do not have to book both nights at the hotel if you do not wish to do so. However many are doing so to take advantage of the Limo situation and making a full weekend of it. If you just wish to attend the pool party and then Saturday nights Purgatory main event. Just book a hotel room on Saturday and you can check in at 1pm. That way you attend the pool party and then take the Limo to the Saturday night party. All you need to do is purchase your pre sale Saturday night ticket and or pay at the door. If you cannot stay at the hotel or attend the pool party. No worries, just purchase a weekend ticket if you want both night events and or just purchase the ticket you want. Anyone can pay at the door for any event. We just put a discounted weekend ticket together to save everyone money. Plus it honestly helps us tell how many to expect so that we make sure the club is properly staffed to give you a great experience. All in all no worries and if you have any questions just write us at the comment section of the site or post it here in the forum. |
| We decided to separate all three event fliers making them individual. As all three had their own rsvp list, different Dj's doing different events etc... Only the StoneBridge opening night party will have all the Dj's together on the same night. However you can refer to the itinerary here in this forum as it will give you a break down on what is occurring on each day. For those who are attending the different events that are members of the Dp site. We ask that if at all possible that you rsvp for each event you are attending. As it lets others know who will be at the events. Many come out to just have a good time and spend some quality time with their significant other. But many come out to mix n mingle, meet some new friends and perhaps take a walk on the wild side. So rsvping for each event lets members and non members know who will be attending which events over the weekend. Which definitely spices things up before the party even starts. |
| Just wanted to clarify the requirement that you must be a hotel guest to attend the pool party. You do not have to book both nights at the hotel to attend the pool party. You may check in early at 1pm on Saturday and attend the pool party and then attend the main event on Saturday night and take the Limo transportation to and from. |
On Friday night, we will be at The Ritz VIP Lounge for one of the best music shows and hottest crowd, as we are bring in one of world's top DJ's to date. Stonebridge is world renowned for his sounds and will be bringing in Krista Richards to sing to LIVE to all of their chart topping hits. Rest assured your DP hosts always meet with managers, staff, bartenders, and waitresses before any event to make sure everything goes accordingly. For those who have attended DP events in the past, rather a party or a trip, we always make sure even the smallest detail is covered. So, put on something hot and head on over to The Ritz VIP Club Red Door for an exciting time. For those of you wishing to grab a drink or two before the party, the hotel bar located by the pool will be staffed accordingly. You do not have to get a room to attend either Friday or Saturday nights events. You only need a hotel room if you wish to attend the pool party during the afternoon on Saturday, as that is a hotel requirement. Prepare to have a weekend unlike any other and Limo transportation will be provided to and from the club. For those interested, your DP hosts will be at the hotel bar on Friday evening from 6pm-7pm for an unofficial meet and greet for those guests who are staying at The Hilton. |
| Limo transportation will be provided on both Friday and Saturday nights from the hotel to the club and back. The club will stay open until 245am on Friday for the StoneBridge show. We are going to push back the pool party until 1pm on Saturday to give everyone a little night wink and then shut the pool party down at 5pm to let everyone get ready for Saturday nights festivities. Doors will open at 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights with the first Limo starting at 9pm on both nights. Entry to the VIP Lounge will be thru Club Red Door allowing everyone direct access without having to walk thru the main club unless you want to. For those that are traveling in for the event. The hotel will provide airport transportation to and from Hobby Airport. So no need to rent a car. |
Just posted this on other sites as the itinerary has definitely changed and amped up. Since our last email to the DesirousParty community we have made quite a few additions to Purgatory weekend. First and foremost we have added artist StoneBridge to the opening night event for Purgatory. StoneBridge is doing a limited North America tour this year. So the chance to see him in such a intimate VIP lounge setting is incredible. Then to top it all off he is doing it for a couples only crowd. Plus we now have a total of four Dj's for Purgatory weekend. These Dj's will take turns opening for each other on the other events making for an incredible high energy night. Now you ask what is Purgatory weekend? Purgatory weekend was created six years ago to become a annual event that would pull the hottest couples from across the U.S. An event with high energy music, beautiful people and a theme that would let each person give his own visual presentation. A night for high fashion, body paint, feathered wings, glittery costumes, devils, unicorns, fairies etc...... You set your own place in Purgatory. Of course do not forget the Purgatory pool party set in the middle of two high energy nights. We have Purgatory posted on Kasidie in the national and regional party section. In the next day or two we will launch the pre-sale and individual event tickets as well. All those that book the host hotel will get admittance to the pool party and that is the only way to get tickets to this event. As the pool party is for hotel guests only. | Just a reminder that the Purgatory Pool party is going to be for hotel guests only. We made this agreement with the hotel as they did not want an over abundance of people showing up at the hotel who did not have a room attending the party. This was done to limit the party to around 150 guests. Which is what we would have if all the rooms sell out. Otherwise we would have 300 plus people attending and we would catch the hotel bar unprepared to handle that kind of crowd. Making it bad for everyone. So we agreed to include the pool party in the price of the room and not charge a extra cover for attending the party. Which is a win win for everyone and adds extra value to the ticket package. Plus with us providing Limo service this eliminates the need for drinking and driving and you can party like rockstars with no worries. |
Being that this is the 6th annual Purgatory, Heaven or Hell event. We decided to change up the chemistry of the party. We first moved the event back a month so that it could occur in the summer time. Making it easier for more people to attend the event. We then found hotel that has a great old school Miami feel to it with select cabana side pool rooms. We then grabbed two of our favorite Dj's to play at this years event. Then we selected a venue that has hosted some of the biggest Dp events to date. A venue that has remodeled, added over $30,000 of new high energy dance lighting and continues to add amenities that cater to the Dp crowd. All encompassing a weekend full of the ever present sexxy Dp guests from across the U.S. Creating what is going to be a very fun weekend. Be sure to check out the previous years Purgatory photos for a idea of what to expect. Think angels, devils, nymphs, fairies. A summer Halloween party geared toward one theme. How naughty or good you are is to your own desire.
