Party Ideas Purgatory-Heaven or Hell Ballroom Decor
| We have received lots of questions from people who have never attended Purgatory wanting to know what its like. What is the dress and how is this different from a normal club night. Being this is the 5th annual Purgatory we couldn't really refer them back to the previous years parties as we are doing this completely different this year. Of course the attire is the same which is wild, crazy, erotic,exotic to name just a few descriptors. You will see everything from the innocent, scary, ooh so very erotic and just that person's vision of what Purgatory is like for them. One year a very special lady came as a sexxy unicorn and yes she looked like a very sexxy unicorn with the horn, tail and dressed all in white. People go all out in their dress for Purgatory. Anyways we really wanted the ambience to be different. So our first goal was to take the party out of a club setting and put into in a hotel ballroom setting. Then we called our good friend Shannon over at Spooker's Halloween wharehouse and told him what our ideas were. This was several months ago and he told us to rest assured as he knew what we wanted. Well obviously someone has been scheming and getting excited over the last few months. Shannon is all about Halloween and this is the closest he can get to it in the spring time. So last Saturday we get a phone call and the man is absolutely giddy with excitement. It seems that Shannon started emptying his haunted house for this party and started loading everything up on his huge trailer. For those that have not the chance to walk into the Spookers Haunted house then you have missed out. Shannon uses the same props and theatric displays that Hollywood movies use. I honestly am not sure what all this man has up his sleeves. I do know that he pulled out multiple coffins, skinned dogs, goblins, some very scarry hanging displays and then he trailed off laughing and just told me to get ready. This is just the hell side of Purgatory. For all you heavenly innocent folks out there we are going to have your side all white. Plus we got off the phone with DJ's La Tribu last night and I think they are just excited as Shannon is. Although they are really looking forward to the pool party to get into the mindset before the main event. But he just told me to get ready as with the energy that Shannon is creating he is going to "bring it" big time. So we are counting the days less patiently as the weekend gets here. As this is going to be one very crazy succession of parties. |
