I would highly recommend as you can use it as a meal (in addition to your 3 main meals in a day). It's a key part of the diet my trainer gives me - but I also eat a lot of protein rich foods. |
Apr 20, 2012 11:47 AM (12+ Years) Sounds very similar to the Sntha that we are taking. Only big difference is the amount of protein. Which is normally the size of the scoop. But if you find something that works and you like. I would always stay with it.

Apr 17, 2012 11:33 AM (12+ Years) At Nutrition Depot is $29 for 2 lbs and I believe $39.99 for 5 lbs. I can only find the coffee flavor in the two pounds. It's one of the cleaner proteins. Only other one I like is Dymatize protein in the Isolate line.

Apr 17, 2012 11:16 AM (12+ Years) Okay cool as that helps me recommend what we are currently taking. As our goals seem very similar. We are taking Syntha-6 which is a ultra premium lean muscle protein powder. Great assortment of flavors, we love mochaccino and it has all the proteins you listed plus a few more. So it does not break down all at once but in stages so that your body can absorb it all. 22g's of protein per serving plus 6 g of fat with 2 g of saturated. So 200 calories with only 50 being fat calories. So you could substitute this for a snack and or a meal. Both of us take it and its helping the summer lean down program that we are on. Apr 17, 2012 10:46 AM (12+ Years) What are you looking for in the protein? Meaning are you wanting a protein made up of several types such as whey, casein, egg etc... or just a isolate? Also I am not familiar with the brand you mentioned but do you want it to have any fat calories etc.... I have two brands that I recommend but it would depend on what you are looking for.
