| Okay just got off the phone with management. When you get to the club just let them know that you are there for the meet n greet and the cover charge will be waived. Also a correction on the drink specials. Its $1.50 domestic beer and well drinks. Plus $2.50 Jaegger and Crown Royal. We will have a section for our group so when you get there just ask the front door staff to point you in that direction. |
| Okay here is the location for the official/unofficial meet n greet for this years Halloween Party. If you get there before 11pm there is no cover and after 11pm cover is a whopping $5. However we are working on getting this waived for our group. Plus $1.50 beer and $2.50 Jaegger shots. Several of us checked the place out last night. It's located on the second level above and to the side of Scout Bar. On the second level is a sports bar called Doc's and across the way is Buck's. Bucks is pretty spacious, two dance floors, video screens and plays a large variety of music. However I asked and was told that the DJ would take our requests all night long. For those that have been to Whiskey Creek in midtown. This is pretty much the Clear Lake version of the club. The management does enforce somewhat of a dress code as Scout Bar and Doc's sports bar does not. So do not dress thug style although I really doubt that any of the DP group would. However uncollared shirts, jeans, tennis shoes are okay as that pretty much described my dress last night. Below is the address. For those not familiar to the area. Take I-45 south toward Galveston and exit Nasa Rd. Take a left going back over I-45 S meaning that you will be on Nasa Rd going toward the Webster/ Hwy. 3 area. Egret Bay Blvd is about five minutes and you will take a right at the light. The clubs are immediately on your left hand side. Buck's is a great meet n greet hang out location. The club was not really that crowded as they only recently opened and we can pretty take over whatever section we want for our group. If you have any questions just post them here. | We are looking at a club that will not charge cover and will offer some drink specials for the group. Just a really cool club with a great mix of music, video screens on the wall and a large area for the group to mix n mingle. We should have it posted very soon as we are waiting to hear back from management. |
| Several people have been asking as DesirousParty always does a night before meet n greet before our big events. So we are currently working on a meet n greet location for Friday night, October 26th. As the host hotel is located near Hobby Airport, I-45 south. We are going to pick a location in the I-45 south, Clear Lake area. This information should be updated soon in this forum topic. |
