Party Ideas Pool Party- Purgatory, Heaven or Hell
| For those staying at the hotel and not checking in to Saturday. We confirmed with the hotel that they are letting you check in early at 1pm which is when the pool party starts. So drop your bags in your room, grab your swim suits and join us. When you check in at the hotel you will receive your pool wristbands for access to the party. You will also receive a welcome letter from us with the itinerary etc.... There are also still three cabanas left for bottler service. Oh and don't forget to bring your arm floaties if you want to lounge around in the pool for a bit. |
| The pool party will start at 1pm. We are going to have a cash bar at the pool. We are also going to have a mixologists at the pool making special margaritas sponsored by Cabana cachaca. DJ O will be behind the sound and DJ Myke will b working the gate for this event. Cover is $20/couple, $10/ single female. No c.c.'s but the hotel has a atm machine. However the bar will be set up to take c.c.'s. DJ O is scheduled to crank off at 1pm but I am sure that if he sets up early enough the party will start early. The pool goes from 3 feet, 5 feet to 8 feet. So we are suggesting that you bring floats or the noodles to kick back in the pool on. As we have a limited amount of pool chairs, cabana's etc... However we are also bringing in extra pool side tables to set your drinks on. |
| We made a order of pro-mesh visors for those wishing to get one at the pool party. We are going to be selling them for our costs which is $5. They only have the initials "DP" on the front of the visor and they do not spell out Desirousparty or the .com on the visor. Otherwise you can wear them out boating, the gym or by the pool. Kinda like a secret handshake or signal if you see someone else wearing one while out and about. Here are the colors White-purple Dp script Purple- white Dp script Black-pink Dp script Pink-black Dp script Jules Jewels is also working on a designer tank for the ladies. She is designing it for Purgatory but I think it will be something the ladies would wear year around. In clear rhinestones the word Desirous will be spelled out across the front. The capital "D" will be set on top a pair of wings and a halo will at the top of the letter. The letter "R" will be set with a pair of devil horns at the top and a devils tail curling off the bottom of the "R". Again something you could wear out and about and only those who are a part of DesirousParty would know the real meaning of the shirt. The shirts will come in small or medium and we will have several colors to choose from. Not sure on the cost yet but we will be selling them at our cost as we are not trying to make any profit off of them. Plus we will be passing out the purple and pink Dp koozies to everyone at the pool party. If you do not see them just ask and we will be sure to get you one. |
| We spoke to the hotel about getting bottle service discounted at a lower pre-sale rate. Otherwise if you reserve your table and bottle service before the party you can save some extra George Washingtons. You do not have to pay for the bottle service until you get to the pool party but you still get it at the special discounted rate. If ordering bottler service on the day of the pool party the bottle prices will be as listed in the above post. Some may care and some may not on the price difference but either way we are trying to help everyone out. | Had a nice chat today with DJ O regarding the set up, sound and mixes for the pool party. Just giving everyone a hint that you better be ready to party as DJ O is raising the bar for this one. He is definitely setting the tone and the mood leading into the main event in the ballroom. We also received bottle prices for the cabana tables. Two of the six tables have now been reserved. Just a reminder that each bottle comes with setups for four people. We negotiated some great bottle prices for the group as we want this event to be insane with energy as we have some fun in the sun. | One of the six cabana tables has already been reserved which leaves five cabana tables left. We are also working on a separate flier so that you can see what members will be at the pool party. Again you do not have to be a member of Dp to attend the pool party. You just have to be a couple and or single female. |
During our meeting the hotel we learned that they had reserved the pool from noon to 5pm on Purgatory just for our party guests. Meaning that this is going to be a private party only and no one not on the guest list will be able to attend. With that being said the pool party will be for couples and single females only. Everyone attending will have a wristband on. So party crashers will not be allowed, which we really appreciate the hotel stepping up and doing this. So this is how its going to work.
We are trying to set a precedent with this event that puts people into the mind frame of a weekend long party. Otherwise you don't have to travel to other cities and pay high price covers charges. Something we learned from talking to guests who attended our Spring Break trip who came from New York, Canada etc... Otherwise all you hotties from afar need to travel hear and come party with the Dp crew in Houston. hint hint. |
