Its recommended to remove the debris with a net, sweep down the sides with your brush and shock it heavily. This should bring it back around quickly. This worked great on our pool!! Good luck | Draining a pool can be risky business. Its possible for the pool to pop out of the ground.
It all depends mainly on what type of filtration system you have. Our pool has cartridge filters and we used a pool net to remove all the big stuff and then a leaf attachment on the vaccum to remove the smaller stuff. After that I cleaned the filters, shocked the water and within24 hours had the water back to clear. City water takes a longer time to treat because of the PH of drinking water vs the PH needed to sustain pool water, so the water you have (no matter how dirty it looks) will probably be easier to balance than a full pool of tap water. |
