(Past Trip) Desire Resort,Group Trip,Aug 7th-13th Photos
| We may be stumbling back to the room at 7am and could work a peg board at that time. However I do slip away from the pool around lunch time to check our sites and answer any necessary emails. Then the rest of the day is saved for play and meeting and greeting. Actually just hanging out in the pool, getting drunk, meeting new people from across the country and bull shitting as we like to say down here in Texas. Oh and playing lots of volleyball. Thats the schedule for me, Mr. DP, while Ms. DP soaks up the sun trying to get darker than she already is. Lots of vegging during the day for her and partying all night long for both of us. |
| We just bought the Olympus E-500 digital camera. Awesome camera because you can put it on auto and let the camera do all the work or with its many features you can get as professional as you want. Plus the 150mm lense is great for some detailed photos. So we will definitely be bringing the camera for some modeling photos. Probably going to hire a taxi one day so that we can be taken around the area for some great photo shoots. We like the deserted beach or perhaps one of the older towns that has the market square area. HOT girls in bikinis posing in the market area would make for some great photos. |
| The resort frowns on taking pictures at the pool and on the beach directly in front of the pool. However later in the afternoon when its very evident that only our group is around the area. Some great photo opps appear and we pull out our cameras. Plus there is alot of beach area to take pics as well as around the resort. Its all about respect and being discrete toward others privacy which we always managed to do. However we still get emails from couples who pose for the camera but cant remember taking that picture. lol |
| Hi guys, Welcome tothe site and glad to hear that you are joining us at Desire in August. Before I go into a long spill on training or other tips. Were you requesting tips on training, things to bring to the resort, watching out for horny strange people or just being able to drink, get drunk, stand up straight or float without drowning while you carry on a conversation that you probably wont remember later. lol Oh yeah we can also give advice on the best way for a guy to put on a bikini top quickly. Just joking as its been a really long stressful week deep in the heart of Texas. | Things are somewhat relaxed on group takeovers. But a descreet photo here and there around the pool should not bring the gestapo police out. lol Plus we took quite a bit of our pics on the beach and no one bothered us at all. Take a look at our group pictures from the last two trips and you will get an idea of what I am trying to describe. The body paint shots were taken at the pool area but we grabbed a corner by ourselves and it was only our little painters in the pics. |
| As far as general vacation photos go, are you allowed to take pics if you're using respect for those around you during the day on the beach and pool? I've read on the Desire site that the rules are sometimes relaxed for group takeovers but is this considered a group takeover? While at H3 we took very few pics because of the strict policy on taking pics on the nude side. This trip we would like to bring back some memories other than those in our heads.:) Tonya |

| LOL. Shane used to feel the same when I worked out constantly. We have now become so accustomed to exercising and eating right that we feel ackward when we don't. I agree with you about it all being in the attitude. We went to Hedo 3 last August and saw people of all shapes, sizes, and ages. No one cared about what you looked like, it was more about your personality. If you are a shy person then there is always someone that is kind enough to help bring you out of your shell and if you are outgoing then everyone appreciates the entertainment your personality brings to the party. No matter where you fall in the mix you can always fit right in.:) Tonya |
| Tonya and Shane, Thanks for joining our group trip forum. I just want to point out to all those anonymous readers out there. Some of our group likes to work out, stay in shape. But some in our group are just the opposite. To us its all about the attitude and the thrill to have fun. We work out because we like it, it makes us feel good and to be honest its now such a habit that we feel guilty if we dont hit the gym. Plus with Mrs. DP being a model I know I better keep myself in shape or some Fabio will walk off with her. lol |
| We would like to say hello and that we can't wait to get to Desire and meet everyone. At first we were unsure if we would be comfortable surrounded by all the beautiful bodies but instead of keeping us from what seems like a wonderful and fun group, we used all of you as inspiration to work harder at the gym. We workout 6 days a week and watch everything we put in our mouths so hopefully by the time August arrives we will be in the best shape of our lives. We look forward to getting to know everyone and having a great time in Cancun. Tonya and Shane |

We stay in the gym alot and talking for ourselves. We forget the basics sometimes and its good to get a reminder. Plus you are right. A C/O vacation is a good motivator to hit the gym. We schedule two vacations a year that are C/O because if we did not I would be finding ways to miss those workouts. lol MR. DP |
| Hey your not butting in you are joining in. That is what the forum is here for. And for those who are reading this and thinking, OH MY GOD. No, you do not have to be a gym freak and have zero body fat to join our merry little group. Your DP hosts hit the gym regurlary because our 8 to 5 jobs requre it and we actually like it. This trip is more about personality and respect. Now if you have look like you belong in Playboy then thats okay with me to. Right guys. lol Mr. DP |
| Yes, you are correct. When we were there in October they had stopped letting you take pics around the pool area and on the beach in front of the pool. You could also not take pics in the disco at night. But the lighting sucks in there. However when you have a large group block such as ours the rules are a litte less restrictive. Plus its all about respect and if you are not invading anothers privacy they will not bother you anyways. We pretty much took pictures anywhere we wished, were not blatant about it and made sure to leave others out of the shot. You can also hit certain areas of the day and work with Silvina and she will make sure that you will have what you need. David and Beth |
| The lighting was good at the old gym. However I am sure that it was destroyed in the storm as it had a Palapa for a roof and the wall facing the ocean was all glass as were the doors. But I know it was rebuilt and they probably used the same design again. They also have a steam room for the guys and girls as saunas that would make for some cool shots. Plus there are several rooms for massages and another where they have a cold water jacuzzi with a small waterfall coming from the wall that would make for some great shots. Hopefully the pier will be re-built as it had several palapas on it that we used for good shots. You may look if you have not already, in our photo gallery for our last two trips to the resort that will give you some ideas of the places I am talking about. The resort is awesome. Now you just need to get some of the wife's fellow competitors to join us for the trip and Miss Bethany can get some models as well. . |
| The pyramids are about a hour so so drive away. However Puerto Morales is a small village very close to the resort that has some nice unique areas for photos. Plus Playa is about a 20 minute cabdrive away from the resort that also offers quite a bit of photo spots. There are also some unique clubs that Silvina (resort) might have contacts with to get us into that would make some great photo opps. |
| Check out MissBethany.com as I heard a rumor that she will be at Desire in August also. I am sure that you can talk her into a few shoots and she has been to Desire twice before. So she knows some good photo spots in and around the resort. |
