| We had a incredibly great meeting with Desire Pearls G.M. today. We learned that as awesome as the food has been all week long that they are bringing in a even more esteemed chef starting next week. We brought some complaints regarding the Dj's as with over 10 years of experience we know a few things about the music energy at an event. Needless to say there will be some changes made and for our next event in April the G.M will hand pick three Dj's from the Cancun area to personally entertain our group in April. He was surprised to learn that we do all our party graphics in house. As we are hosting special group theme nights in April. He requested that we do a party graphic for each nightly theme. He is buying several flat screen tv's and placing them around the resort. On each daily flier we will post a itinerary for daily events. Along with each restaurants food theme such as Italian, seafood, Mediterranean, etc..An informed trip guest is the best as they know how and when to bring the party. We also ventured off the resort and ate at two exceptional restaurants and look for those reviews very soon. Overall not much was brought to the table except improve on the Dj's and allow our group to enhance the energy level of the events. We are also bringing in more dance lighting for the pool/hot tub areas in the evening, more sound and just a fun, sexy upscale vibe to the April group. | I have become known as the couple from Houston with the party group. When I ask if that is a good thing I am told yes as we control the quality of the music. No matter the age or if they booked the trip with us we are getting the requests. We are told repeatedly that no matter the age we all want to feel young and sexy. The DesirousParty.com group has definitely helped enhance the music energy with mixes, artists etc... and after hosting events for 10 years we know how to amp up the energy levels. The Dj is not there to hear himself play his requests but to put the female body in motion. We have met a lot of couples from across the world who will be joining the site and traveling with us in the future. Definitely loving the new Desire Pearl as it is hands down the premiere L.S. resort out there. |
| Safe travels and see you later today. We had a group dinner last night for those that booked with DesirousParty and Dream Pleasure Tours. It was nice as people had a chance to sit with couples for dinner that they had not had a chance to meet yet. So lots of mixing and mingling over dinner with great conversation. Which definitely created some high energy moments in the disco later in the night. One of the great things about these group trips is that it brings people together from all walks of life and from all over the country. So a couple from Texas, another from Canada and another from the east coast for instance can sit together over a great meal and by dessert feel like you are long lost friends. It brings a unique energy to the trip and helps bond some lasting friendships. Plus it definitely helps your hosts get to know everyone on a more personal level and visa versa. We had the great pleasure to chat with a couple from Nova Scotia and another from Columbia. The resort definitely rolled out the red carpet for us yesterday and looking forward to meeting some new couples today poolside. The staff is definitely on their toes so to speak as no one needs anything for very long before the resort staff is on top of it. |
| Tonight we hosted the mixer in the hot tub area. The resort took our music, rolled out a top notch fire show, sushi appetizers, martini drinks, high energy lighting and the crowd was incredible. I can honestly say this is by far one of the most incredible trips we have ever hosted and that is saying a lot. Definitely fun times and we have still have five more days to go. |
| Today we arrived at Desire Pearl, formerly Ceiba del Mar. Oh and wow the resort changes and upgrades. Who would have thought that they could have improved where the former resort left off as we thought it was already perfect. First and foremost is the staff. Everyone is smiling, eager to greet you and eager to assist you. We were upgraded to a Master Suite. The head of house services escorted us to our room where we were greeted with rose pedals everywhere. They had spelled "Happy 1 year Anniversary" in rose pedals on our bed. Plus they had drawn her a warm bath covered in rose pedals, lit candles and a gorgeous floral display. Slight pause as you scratch your head. Yes you read that correct. We chose to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary at Desire Pearl. Why you ask? First we loved the former resort and knew that Desire Pearl was going to be a cut above all the rest. Secondly we love hanging around our friends and meeting new friends. Lastly we love the open minded crowd and wanted to spend a week where we could do as we pleased and do it in a grand style. As I am typing this I am interrupted by the phone ringing. It is Carlos our butler and he wanted to know if he could take our breakfast order to be delivered to our room. Hmmm did not know we had a butler. I think I am going to like this. Party all night long and get breakfast in bed. Yes I think we are going to like Desire Pearl. Well off to dinner and to the disco. |
