Party Ideas New Party Venue- "Table" Formerly Philippe Restaurant

For April 5th event at Table. 

We were invited today to a friends/family lunch to sample their new menu and check out the design of the venue. Two thumbs up to the new menu and the direction that the venue has taken. New signature cocktails, collectic menu items that has something for everyone and definitely try their signature desserts. We did not sample their new beer menu but trust us it is very interesting and we look forward to sampling on April 5th. They now have two mixologists who definitely create some unique cocktails that left us very impressed. If you want a unique cocktail then Table is the venue for it. 

But onto the party for April 5th. We are going to change things up a bit. The party will be a full venue takeover of both levels for Dp party guests only. We are going to have two bars open on the 2nd floor and both Dj's will be on this level as well. We are creating a dance floor on the 2nd level and it will be surrounded by 7 bottle reservation sections that will hold 4-6 people. Plus cocktail tables will be set up for those who wish to mix n mingle and stand around watching the dance floor. 

The lounge stand stairs will be set up for a more intimate area where you can hear the music but not be in the (club scene). The outdoor patio area will also be open for those who wish to lounge outside, sit n talk, smoke etc.. So a full venue takeover with different ambiances that fit your mood.

We are heading to Table tomorrow to meet with management to look at the newly designed venue. We will be going over event details and getting everything set for our April 5th event. Plus discussing bottle table reservations, prices, etc.... will be posting more information tomorrow evening. 

Dropcap has been added to the lineup for the April 5th Lounge mixer at Table. Dj O will open the evening and dropcap will close out. Glad to have dropcap back in Houston spinning for the Dp crowd. 

We finally have a date for our next event. Philippe has now been renamed "Table". Our next party date at this newly redesigned and renamed venue will be April 5th. The lounge has been totally redesigned with a new expanded bar, new decor and seating. Plus the restaurant upstairs now has a new menu, look and feel as well. 

The new party flier will be up on the site very soon and we are in talks with the restaurant in regards to a special appetizer menu for our party guests at the event. As soon as we get the venues bottle prices we will also start taking reserved bottle service tables as well. 

So set your calendars as we return to the Galleria area on April 5th at "Table". 
 

Great first event and just a follow up after the party. Doors opened at 10pm and we had a crowd rolling in by 945pm. By 1030pm there was almost a hundred Dp guests already checking out the new venue. The venue was over staffed and adequately prepared for our crowd. The reserved bottle service couch sections sold out and the lovely patio was a big hit. All in all it was a great night and we got a lot of positive feedback with the new venue. 

We are already in discussions with hosting another event at the venue for February. We were told that starting Jan. 1st the venue would be going into a full renovation and rebranding. They are changing the color scheme of the lounge, expanding the loung bar by almost doubling it, and changing the furnishings of the lounge as well. After completion the restaurant menu and name will change as well. They are hoping to do all of this in 3 weeks and plans are already under way. 

We had a very upscale and huber sexy crowd come out. Guests wore their sexiest club style dress and our clientele really represented Dp to the max. Which we always appreciate. Dp has gained a nice reputation over the years and as always our party guests did not disappoint.

People always question whats does, "Catering to the New Lifestyle" mean. Just look at the party photos from this night. Super sexy, professional clientele, striving for something uniquely different. You wish to stand out in the crowd, be around the same, have a superb time, feel good about yourself and at the same time. Perhaps let your hair down so to speak in the right environment and dance the night away. This night definitely provided all of that. Management loved our group and we look forward to returning in the near future. 

Just got back from the walk thru with venue management. Weather forecast shows to be a lovely evening to have their patio open. They have purchased several state of the art high temp heaters to keep everyone cozy on the patio. We will have music playing outside as well. They will have a bar set up with three bartenders working the patio. Inside lounge bar will have three bartenders and the upstairs bar will have two bartenders. 

For those wishing to valet you may pull up to front entrance off of Post Oak and valet will meet you at front doors. They is also ample free parking at the rear of the business and a walkway that will guide you to the front entrance. 

The venue will also have a lounge menu available for those who wish to dine/snack late during the event. The venue also has restrooms located on both levels that will be available to us. 

Doors open at 10pm and our door staff will be there to greet you at the front entrance.

For those wishing to make a night of it for next weekends event. Hotel Derek is offering some great rates for Saturday, November 30th. The hotel is very close to the venue.

RWB vodka as many know is the new sponsor of Dp events. RWB is now offered at the Phil's Lounge bar inside of Philippe  Restaurant and bottle service for our event will be $175 for RWB. 

The venue is requiring that all bottle service reservations be requested before November 25th. Please write info@desirousparty.com to request bottle service. 

We have been looking for a cool, trendy and very upscale venue in the Galleria area for the past year since the previous venue sold. We are super happy to announce that we found all of this and so much more at Phil's Wine Lounge. Phil's is located inside of Philippe Restaurant. The restaurant is located on the second floor and Phil's occupies the first floor. 

Phil's is decorated in a upscale fashion with stained concrete, dark and light comfortable furniture, large bar, outdoor patio, second level overlooking the wine lounge. The lounge has three sitting sections where 6-8 people can sit together for bottle service. Plus a long couch that runs along the far wall that gives guests a view of everything going on inside the lounge. Bar stools run alongside the bar giving a place to sit yet also allow guests to walk up to the bar to mix n mingle. If things get a bit crowded or desiring a more intimate conversation. We also have access to the bar in Philippe Restaurant. Pull up a bar stool and allow the bar staff to create a mixologists cocktail for you. Guests can also sit along the upper railing looking down on the party crowd. 

This is the perfect venue to mix n mingle. A lounge menu will be available if desiring to eat. Dance where you sit or wherever you feel the need to move your body. If weather is colder the Lounge has state of the art heaters on their patio to chase away the chill. 

So we are very happy to have this venue to offer to the Dp party guests. We do not have a hotel group block but there are awesome hotels in the Galleria area. So feel free to post on here where you might be staying.
