Chat Room Meeting people for the first time.
| Thanks for the forum post. Validations are indeed for people whom have met at least if not many times through events, outings etc... You will find that your situation mirrors many others as its not unique. Many of our members are new families, professional business owners, career minded etc... Which is why we only host official Dp events once every three weeks or so. This allows members and guests to make arrangements well in advance. Plus many of our events have hotel blocks so that guests can make a night out if they so wish. So mixing and mingling online is great and try to come out when you can as validations occur over time as you get to know others. |
| I see a lot of people with many validations. Does this usually happen at the events or are people meeting up for dinner and such just couple and couple. I ask it is hard for us to get a baby sitter and we do not want to make it seem like we go out often without our son so our adult time is rare and hard to come by. So if people are meeting for dinner how would you feel if a couple wanted to meet over coffee instead durning the middle of the day like on a weekend for a hour or so. |
