(Past Trip) Wild on Desire, Spring Break 2007 Latest Update Before you Go.

I have one more to add to the suggestion list. Try to carry lower denominations such as $1 and $5 dollar bills for tipping. The resort will break your money into pesos but it will not be as good as a exchange rate as the airport. Plus the waiters, bartendars, housekeepers etc... will gladly take the $1 bills from you.

This may be a little to late but here a few items that you dont want to forget to pack to make your trip more convenient.

1. Several different spf's of sunscreen.
2. A little beach bag or tote to store your stuff in poolside
3. A insulated mug or two(16oz or larger). Because the cups are small and that will stop frequent trips to the bar.
4. A nice fragranced bug repellent for at night.
5. Aspirin, tylenol, etc... some stomach remedies etc...
6. Your favorite c.d.'s for the room

Feel free to add to the list and keep the post going as there are quite a few veterans attending this trip and they can help out.

A few updates on the group trip. Silvina will be off the property during our week at Desire. Oscar will be taking her place and will be around the pool area during the day. He will also be coordinating the Coco Bongo trip on Thursday night.
Every year we try and host a meet n greet reception for all the group. However, the resort likes to have it around 4pm in the afternoon and away from the pool area where everyone likes to be at. Which pretty much nulls and voids everyones vibe during the day. Becasuse as we have found out. No one likes to go back to their room, freshen up for a reception during the middle of the day. That gravity just seems to keep you locked into your chair or pool area and you dont want to move. Hell, you are on vacation so why should you have to move. lol
So this year I have requested that the staff really pump up the energy in the pool area, announcing our group and coordinating some activities to announce the group in that area.
Plus your DP host couple, MianMike will have DP coozies, DP key lanyards and some other goodies to be handing out to all the DP couples. They will be around the pool area and beach area during the day. Mia and Mike are awesome outgoing people. So if you see them first dont hesitate to approach them to say hi or with questions, comments etc... However if you have specific questions or problems with the resort I would suggest that you present that to the staff and or front desk.

Hello everyone, just thought that we (mike and I) would stop by here and say hello. We will be your DP host couple for this trip. Desirousparty is so right on the money, you will catch us around the pool area meeting all the hotties that attend this trip. This is our 3rd trip to Desire with Dp. Each year the couples get hotter and hotter. In the mornings you can catch us at the gym and then off to breakfast. In the afternoons poolside with about 2 drinks in our hands. Come the evening all hell with break loose on the dance floor and we dance in theme in the club. We will have a camera to have pics posted on this site with all faces blurred out. So if you will like your pics taken or not please let us know.
Once again if you see us first please stop us and say hello. In advance thank you to all of you who will make this trip a blast.
