I agree its the season when people are thinking about family and the holidays. IQ is a very nice upscale club that Houston has been longing for a very long time. Plus DP was hosting parties at Encounters twice a month and we kept a very sexy crowd coming to the club that kept the atmosphere hopping even when we were not there.
Starting Jan. 12th, DesirousParty will be hosting parties at IQ every month and we might also throw a occasional Friday night in there as well. Plus we will still be visiting all our Dallas DP party guests and will contine to visit IQ Dallas as well. Our goal is to get the two crowds from Dallas and Houston plus all of the out of state party guests who venture into the big D with DP to start intermingling and partying in both cities.
So get ready as DP will be putting the sexy bodies into IQ very soon. Starting with our annual Gangster Girl Desirous that we are bringing to IQ Houston this year. So get the pinstripes and Fedoras ready.

I think IQ will EVENTUALLY pick up...I think now is just a bad season to be opening a club, with family and the holidays being MOST people's priority right now. Hopefully after the New Year, when everyone gets back to their regular schedules, they will host a few DP's and people will realize that IQ is BY FAR the nicest option in Houston and the crowds will start to pick up...HOPEFULLY

Well...it was PAINFULLY obvious WE were the only ones interested in doing anything Sat night. We went with a cpl in town from Dallas to IQ around 11:30 to find only 3 cpls in the entire club. We MIGHT have stayed and given it a shot, but when we tried to negotiate the normally 55.00 rate, the best she would do is lower the rate to 40.00. Seeing as how we would have almost doubled the crowd, we figured she could have done a little better. Had she made it 25.00 we would have at least given it a shot. For 80.00, the four of us decided we cold have as much fun partying by ourselves at our own home, rather than blowing that money to party by OURSELVES at an empty night club. Oh well, I am SURE the DP NYE will more than make up for this night.

Anyone going to IQ this Sat?? A few of us don't have family obligations and are lookin to party...WHOSE WITH US???
