Updates: NYE Yesterday we had a great three hour meeting with the Marriott to go over NYE. We are spreading out the bars and making all ticket cashiers (need a ticket for a drink) where you can charge to your room, cash and or use your c.c... Only exception will be ticket cashier in grand ballroom as she will not have access to room list in her system. So c.c. only. Signs will be posted. You can also pre purchase through the reservation form top shelf premium drinks for $8. For those that like the photo booths. We are spreading those out as well. The 360 photo booth will be located in the grand ballroom. The Mirror photo booth will be located in the Atrium. Both will be connected to wifi and you can email your photos. So no printed pics to carry around. NYE special dinner is being finalized. You will have that option along with the option of a full dinner menu as well. Both are ala carte and we are getting the hotel to offer it at a great price. No special seating times this year as 630pm-930pm on NYE. We will have seating in the Pasadena Ballroom as well as the M Club Lounge to help spread everyone out. Breakfast......with your room reservation you get a complimentary breakfast station (buffet, but staff serves you) for two people. Hotel will also be setting up a mimosa, bloody mary bar if you want to get one with breakfast or make that your breakfast. Alcoholic drinks are extra but breakfast is part of your room package. Pizza..........I thought I would get your attention. Both nights at 1am the hotel will have pizzas ready to go. As I get a point of sale I will update everyone. So stayed tuned for the NYE dinner menu, send in those bottle reservation requests as Halloween sold out so NYE will also. |
Six floors now booked for NYE at the host hotel with four floors remaining. Working on a new grand ballroom stage design this year and the atrium will also have a dj spinning as well. NYE dinner menu coming this week as well. Over the two days of festivities dj's Donald Glaude, Mikedrop, Bryan Lubilner, Scottyboy and saxphonists Jason Whitmore. Had a nice walk through pre con meetng at the nye hotel yesterday. Aura sound is mapping out a new light sound show for the grand ballroom that will surpass the Halloween light show they designed this year. We are also redesigning the massive atrium with a new look and feel. We will have a dj spinning the atrium on nye as well as lighting effects throughout the entire atrium to give it a very grand visual effect. We have also been asked and yes we will also be hosting out indoor NYE daytime pool party again this year. The pool will be heated to a comfortable 81 degrees this year as well. The hotel has 290 rooms and we have already surpassed 82 of those rooms reserved. If we book 150 rooms on Dec. 30th then both nights will be full hotel takeovers as well. I believe we can do it so pass the word to those sexy friends whom you want to join you this year for the two nights of festivities. |
