We have a profile on SDC and we exchange links, but we are unable to post events. LL does not give us any issues. We can still post events and promote on LL.

if CT wanted to do what is right, they would focus on building a better community, instead of trying to shut down sites they feel are a threat. Now that DP has no reason to stay neutral, this opens the doors for a lot of possibilities.

Sorry but that is a bag of S%$*, only because the DP site has gotten so big and reach so many people. This is a lifestyle not a race to see who wins first, well people keep ur head up and keep doing what you do. This tells me you are doing something right....

Not trying to cause, stir or create drama. As this is not what DP is about. However its easier to make one forum posting than to answer tons of emails asking what happened, etc.. It's also eaiser just to paste the entire email so that no words or left out. So here is the email that was received and why DP is no longer a member of CT.

"David, it seems that it's time to bring our working relationship to a close. As you have continually added features to the DP site that put it in direct competition with CT we can no longer direct traffic to the DP site or allow you to promote DP events on CT. We regret that it's come to this however we don't have much choice with the features you've added.
I have suspended your CT account and deleted the DP group on CT. You can still log on to the account to delete it from the member tools section if you wish. We will also be removing any links to DP. I have also refunded your credit card for the $35.85 charge that was made on 6/30. Good luck with the DP site.

So for our members who utilize that site to stay up to date with the DP news. Just stay up to date with the DP site as the latest and greatest is always on here. Many members also ask why we do not have certain features. This was basically a gentlemens agreement between us to co-exist. So we limited our features to our members for that reason. Plus we never intended to get this big and reach so many people. So if you have suggestions or comments on new features just let us know. Meanwhile spread the word to your friends so that they know to log onto DesirousParty.com to stay up to date with our events, forums, members, etc.....
