With time you'll see that the DP crowd is genuine, fun loving, and second to none!

Over the years we have heard and read this comment many times. Houston and Texas is known for their hospitality and respect. While that is good for most daily avenues of life  it can be a nuisance in the party scene. We host many events and  whether  at the events or hanging in normal clubs. We notice this ourselves every night. People  just tend to be respectful and try to allow the new  face to get climated, adjusted or for whatever reason do not want to approach. Many times we hear that they did not want to bother the other person or seem to pushy or pressured. Heck we even saw  this at our recent trip to Ceiba.

What I like to tell people is to hang out at the bar as that seems to be the meet n mix area or hit the dance floor. Those two areas seem to be the best areas to let others know that you are there to mix n mingle. As some couples just like to sit there together, enjoy the energy and check out the crowd. Some couples seldom get out so its a nice time for them to enjoy each others companies.

But many just want to meet new friends. So you may have to take that step forward to break the ice if you see someone you like. Just thrust out your hand, flash that pretty smile and say hello. It's what we do to meet new people to introduce ourselves.  We greet them, thank them for coming out and let them know our names. That way if they need something they know a friendly face and then we let them have their privacy. Unless of course they want to hit the dance floor or mix n mingle at the bar.

So give  it some time as before you know it you  will have a great group of  friends to party the night away with.
