(past trip) Wild on Hedonism II in Negril,Jamaica- July 3 thru 10th, 2009 Excursions- Off Resort-Day and Night Trips

I found this video and felt it gave a pretty good spectrum of things to do during the day in Negril if you wished to get off the resort. Plus it gives the feel that I got when I first discovered Negril in 1999. When you get to around the 3 minute mark on the video you will see why Negril is known for its beautiful sunsets. Of course there is plenty to do during the day on the resort as the beaches at Hedo II are superb. Not to mention all the night time activities at the resort disco and hottub areas.

We are considering heading off the resort on certain nights to places such as Ricks Cafe (awesome sunset, dinner, watching cliff diving etc...), the new Margaritaville which is also located on Negril's 7 mile beach. Both places are awesome for partying the evening away. Plus we were told of a great new dance club off the resort that is only minutes away. We realize that not everyone likes to leave the resort but some do like to leave once or twice for a little night time excursion. Of course a sunset catamaran party cruise is also a must if you have not ever done one.

Now for the daytime. I (Mr. DP) have always wanted to try zip lining but never seem to be sober enough to give it a try while on vacation. However this year its on my list. We also want to do some snorkeling and of course we are going to take the small sailboat out and explore the bay a little. Then just maybe we might do the para sailing.But if all else fails. Just look for us on the beach with drink in hand and floating out in the water.
