| The new club is called Vegas and is converting from a strip club. I have seen pictures and the club has potential. However there is work that needs to be done to cater to the upscale Dp crowd and they have promised to do so in the near future. Once this is done we will look at the possibility of adding the venue to the party schedule and see if the Dp party guests will consider this a new venue for us. | |
Just got off the phone with Genia, owner of Coppia. Theybasically had to close their doors as the property had been foreclosed on fromthe previous owner whom they had the lease with. The bank and then new ownerwould not honor that lease and raised their rent substantially. So they decidedto close the club and look for a new venue in the near future. | |
Gotten quite a few calls today in reference to Club Coppia closing. It is very unfortunate as it was a very upscale club catering to the upscale clientele. Many have asked what is the plan for Dp. As many know we have put considerable effort in helping develop the Club Red Door VIP Lounge. As it offers us private parties just for the Dp crowd and not mixing in normal clientele. With the new private entrance, new dance lighting and layout. One has no idea where they are out unless you venture down to the first level which some like to do. We are also working on a new sound barrier to go over the atrium as well. We have also been offered to do takeovers on Saturday nights of Uptown Lounge above Napoli Restaurant and may pursue that as well. Plus there is a new couples club opening on the west side of town. After they open and we gauge the crowd, amenities etc.. and decide that it fits the image of Dp we will consider doing events there. But rest assured that we will stick to alcohol based clubs and away from member based private clubs. While some of our members like byob style venues. We have found that the ones in Houston do not reflect the image and style for the vast majority of our members. So stay tuned as we have some very exciting events coming up. | |
| We have created a very sexy and exotic theme for this Saturday's party at Coppia. Ladies wigs are not required by encouraged as it will make a unique high energy and sexy evening. Your attire is to your desire. Nothing will be sexier than to see all styles of wigs with the theme attire as you hit the dance floor and dance platforms/poles. | Just got word that Jeff from Visual Poison Photography will be in attendance for this event. He will be there to take your glamour party photos throughout the night. If you were in attendance or saw the recent photos from the Pimp n Ho party then you know you will be captured in a high fashion way. Jeff also carries around a Ipad so that you can see your photos right as they are taken. Meaning that you never take a bad photo as they can always be retaken instantly. Be sure to say hi to him as he roams around with Ms. Dp. | |
| This weekend is the annual White Hot Summer Nights-Tiki Luau at Coppia. This year we are bringing in our resident body artist, Pilot. So a night of all white attire, glow in the dark body paint designed by Pilot, leis provided by DesirousParty and a few other surprise guests. Whom do you ask. Every year we bring out the monkeys, parrots, beach balls, tucans, and spread them throughout the club. Making for a very fun, festive and sexy annual party. The black lights and dark blue LED dance lights will be on so the white attire will be glowing on the dance floor. Plus for those ladies who want to get painted in a very sexy way and or have some hidden messages painted on their body to be illuminated under the black lights. Its all designed to accompany a very sexy and hot crowd creating a unique energy known as Dp style! Hope to see your sexy selves out on Saturday night. | |
| The next event at Coppia will the our annual M.I.L.F. Desirous to salute all the sexxy ladies on Dp. Dj O will have the music reins for this event and this event will be non smoking. You continue to support this and express your gratitude. Plus we cannot forget our guys even on this special night. For those that like boxing the fight will be shown on the big wall screen. | Thanks to all who came out and supported what was Dp's 2nd no smoking event at Coppia. For those that do smoke we appreciate you working with us and utilizing the smoking outside vip area. It was definitely another successful event and a very sexxy select crowd of couples and single females. Dp's next event, M.I.L.F. Desirous will be a party to celebrate and thank all our sexxy female guests. The event will also be no smoking and Dj O will be the guest Dj for this event. | The last Dp event at Coppia was a rousing success with the "no smoking" policy. So just a reminder that X-Rated Desirous will also be no smoking. The club is only doing the no smoking policy for Dp events at the club due to the numerous requests by our party guests. If you do smoke no worries. As they set up a nice smoking area right outside the front doors where you can take your drink with you if you so desire. Also body painter, 'Pilot' (Dp profile member) will be in attendance for X-Rated Desirous. If our female party guests wish to take a walk on the wild side. Pilot will paint whatever design you wish across your breasts so that no upper clothing is necessary and you can party the night away in a very X-Rated way. He painted Ms. Dp's Halloween costume this year as she went as Tinker Bell. Therefore her entire upper torso was one work of art. Body art will be complimentary and he will only be working for tips. Pilot will be at the club from 9pm-midnight. So arrive early to have yourself painted in a very erotic way. | |
| Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the first No Smoking event at Coppia. Lots of new faces in the crowd. So many people coming out to Ooh La La because of the new no smoking policy. Plus the club set up a nice smoking area outside the club as well. It definitely was one of our sexiest events at Coppia to date. As over 240 attended which made for a incredible night with the lovely ladies of Dp in lingerie, corsets and other ooh la la attire. Thanks to all for a great night. | |
| There is definitely a very sexxy rsvp list for tonight's Ooh La La Desirous. Every event gets a little hotter than the previous. As couples from all over are starting to attend these events hosted by Dp. We suggest to arrive early if you have desired seating in a certain section of the club. After 10pm most seating is gone and the party goes to standing room only. Which is not a problem as you can mix n mingle, hit the dance floor, then head to the bar as that has become a meeting ground for alot of new party guests seeking to meet others. | Over the last several days we have put up a poll on the Dp site regarding smoking at Coppia. The question was if people were for or against smoking at Coppia for Dp events. The over whelming response (102-34) was in favor of no smoking at the club for Dp events. We are not here to get into the pro's or con's of smoking etc.... As its just nice to be able to go to a club and not return home with your clothes smelling of cigarette smoke. We understand everyone's personal rights etc... But the club ventilation system gets over taxed trying to ventilate out the smoke and in doing so makes a very cold climate. We all know that the ladies of Dp like to dress sexy at the events and it makes it hard to do so when they are freezing. Sooooo starting on March 5th, Coppia will go to a no smoking policy for Dp events. They are going to set up a smoking area outside the club so that those who wish to do so can step outside. This should not be that big of a issue as Houston area clubs have went to this policy already. Thanks to everyone who participated in the poll. | |

| We just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out to this years Essence of Red which was hosted at Coppia. It was Valentines weekend and so many new faces were in the crowd. It was by far our largest crowd to date at Coppia. So thank you to everyone who is passing the word. As the club was full of gorgeous people and the energy was awesome. Ladies we hope that you had a great valentines party and we definitely appreciate all sexxy ladies in red. We also put up a poll on the main page. | Well its 2011 and we are starting off the year with a bang with our annual Winter White Desirous. We have also posted the Essence of Red Valentines party which will be hosted at Coppia as well. The Best Western Inn & Suites is directly next door to the club and is giving a $79 rate for guests of Coppia. We have put the hotel info in the Essence of Red party info on the main page of the site. Both of these events are very popular and bring out very sexxy guests. | For the 7th annual Camouflage Desirous. Coppia will open an hour early at 8pm so that for those UFC fans out there can watch UFC 122. Plus drink specials until 1030pm. | Just learned that there will be a bachelorette attending the Studio 54 party on Saturday. So this ought to be a very interesting night. They are taking over the large vip party booth area. So one can only imagine how wild this one is going to get. |
