| We are poolside tonight on Lake Travis about a 30 second boat ride from where BBB will be happening. Shoreline is bigger this year and the moon is pretty much full right now. Needless to say the anarchy has already started. Plenty of thong butt photos going down. |
| We are only a few days away from the annual BBB. This will be Dp's 3rd year to participate in the event. We downsized this year to the largest party barge on Lake Travis. Meaning that 150 of us will be partying like rockstars at BBB. If you are out there and wish to join us. Just look for the Dp party banners which will be attached to our barge. We will be passing out Dp coozies and tattoos as well. Plus Dj O will be on board playing all of his hottest mixes to the crowd. It's definitely going to be a fun event this year as the weather is slated to be perfect. So see everyone in a few days and get ready to party! |
| The bbbevent.com site shows that only one boat ramp (Mansfield Dam) open for the BBB weekend, There is another at Jones Brothers park in Jonestown that will remain open for several more weeks. Lake Travis is at 645' and may drop to 643' by The 15th. That puts the lake 38 feet below the rim. The boat cove at Hippie Hollow is 145' deep just 200 yards from shore, so bring at least 100 feet of anchor rope and the more the better. We will have our inflatable island anchored behind the barges flying the jolly Roger so drop in and say hi....SNG |

We will also being passing out wristbands at the door Saturday night from 9pm until 10pm but if you come after 10pm you will not be able to get in, sorry no exceptions. The only change will be boat launching. Except for some private ramps, you will need to use the boat ramps at Mansfield Dam. PRIVATE PARTY UPDATE: Even though we have a very large club this year there are still limits on how many Private Party wristbands we can sell and you don't want to be left out!!! | Glad to hear it is much larger than the last two years. Because it had gotten even smaller last year and was pretty ridiculous. As we had already made plans to ensure that our party barge would be tied up shore line. As last years obvious attempt to keep the Dp party barges off the shoreline anchoring position made us come up with a plan B. Look for our party barge to be on one end of the line if we can maneuver it there. |
| G and I were at hippie hollow yesterday afternoon and the water is fantastic! The water will drop another three feet and the area for boaters and barges is MUCH larger than last year. if you are even thinking about BBB book a room now. The Hilton is nearly full but there are plenty of rooms in downtown Austin. |
| Definitely cannot wait to meet you guys next month. Less than three weeks and counting. Dj O is rocking the water for the ooh la la crew. For those hitting BBB just look for the Dp banners and migrate our way. We definitely will be showing all how Dp does it in style. Plus Dream Pleasure Tours will be working the water on their wave runner passing out the all new Dp/DPT coozies. | lake update: lake Travis is matching up perfectly with the 2009 season. The water level is 33.4 feet below pool level at 647.2 And the water is 82 degrees. Visibility was five to ten feet. Only two public ramps are available, the most popular is a four lane ramp at Mansfield dam park. The second is Jones brothers park. Both ramps will remain open for the BBB but Mansfield will only have two lanes open. I will have pics from the boat area of the park on Friday. If you are on a barge, you will have no problems at all, if you plan to drive to the park, you may want to pack light and wear good shoes since it will be a bit of a hike down to the water. Besides you haven't lived until you've been hiking with a thousand nakid hotties! |
| I was doing some hotel shopping and the Mariott extended stay is next door to the Convention center Hilton, 10 bucks cheaper and has plenty of availability. Here is the link. Another advantage would be the "Twin Queen" option for those wishing to save additional money.....you know "It's the economy"! I will just throw this option as well Chaos Party busses The lake to downtown Austin is a 45 minute drive and not exactly the safest road when your tired and dehydrated. I haven't requested a quote but this thing can move a lot of people and keep the party moving. SNG |

| The organizers of BBB are claiming that the host hotel is about 85% sold out at this point. So if you are interested in attending this years event and want to stay with the group then be sure to log onto their site which is listed in the first post in this forum topic. |
| Since this years afterparty has been moved to Downtown Austin there should not be any issues with people finding hotels, finding other couples from the lake will be a bit more trouble though. The hotels will be nicer and the party a bit looser. This year is shaping up to be one of the best! SNG |
| BBB on Lake Travis has been slated for July 15th and 16th. Full event details, hotel information, etc.... is on their website at www.BBBevent.com Be sure to check out their website for all the information as the host hotel is selling out quickly. Friday and Saturday night events are different that recent years as BBB is bringing the party to 6th street in Austin. So make your plans for what is always a very fun event. |
