Halloween Erotica 2008 Are you ready for the 5th annual Halloween Erotica Carnival
| We will be down there at 4:30ish. Every year we have a big turnout for the meet n greet at the hotel bar on the day of the party. Everyone seems to start rolling in around 5ish and by 6 we have a good crowd. Oh and one last footnote on the Limo's. Got a call today that the Hummer Limo broke down last night. So we are replacing it with a Excursion Limo. So one stretch Limo and the Excursion will be our rides for the night. They know to pull up to the front doors. The company requested no smoking in the Limo's. Plus be sure to flash and or tip your driver a $1 or 2 if you felt he was kind and courteous. We will be using these guys again for NYE and they love driving for the DP group. Tick tock, the clowns are starting to giggle. Are you ready? |
| I talked to the sales coordinator early this week. They are doing and going to do the best that they can as they already had a group in there when we came along and had to block a section of rooms as well. They are trying to put as many people together as possible so that everything flows alot better. With all the damage to the area hotels from Hurricane Ike we were glad that these guys were able to just gurarantee us 50 rooms at that rate. So we might have a few stragglers who might be staying away from the group. But they are going to do the best that they can to accomodate everyone. |
| There will be non stop pick ups starting at 745pm. The first Limo picks up then and the 2nd Limo joins in on the fun at 830pm. Both will transport you to the party non stop until approximately 11pm. Then they will take a breather and wait at the club for those who are ready to go back to the hotel That way we can make sure that everyone is taken care of. No worries on just two limos as we have taken care of 100 rooms before with this set up. That why we start early and run late. As for the host hotel. I have requested that they block everyone on the same side of the hotel. Hurriane Ike threw us a curve ball as we thought that we had blocked 100 rooms at another hotel and had one heck of a after party planned. But the Courtyard was kind of enough to step in and give us 50 rooms. We told them that we are bringing in a party group and they understand.So be kind to others, party hard and the last one standing turn out the lights. |
| We were thinking that there will be quite a few people at the hotel. Will the limos be buses? How many people will fit per trip? I think I only read two pick up times. Can anyone clarify? Can't wait to meet everyone! Look for the sexy soldiers! |

| I have never stayed in this hotel. But ice chests are always okay and better than mini fridges. Because it takes those things way to long to cool down. There will be ice machines available. Oh here is some tips for the rooms. Bring in plastic cups, pack a mini cd player for room music, grab some beer or a bottle of alcohol for when you get back from the party, grab a cooler with some ice for when the ice machines run out, request some extra towels to clean up the messes all the nice people in your room make, plan on getting a little to no sleep. Now here are some tips for the party. The hotel meet n greet starts at 4:30-6:30. We will be meeting in the hotel bar. We are all grown adults and we say this every year. But pace yourself. This party is like none other. Its hard to drink nice little concoctions in a high energy environment for seven plus hours straight. This is why we offer the Limo service as we dont want you driving if at all possible. So party hard, have fun, try to remember some memories and by all means take pics so that you remember the next day. Oh and if you meet some cool people. Have them write their names or screen names down and put it in your pocket. Because you always forget your newest and best friends the next day. |
| Well, we won't be in the host hotel, unfortunately, but we will be in the Marriot just down the road. We'll definitely be putting a sign out, if anyone happens to be staying there. Maybe next year we can get in with the cool kids ;) |
| This years hotel will be a hallway. Way back in the day (9 years).lol
Pretty much every room at the host hotel had screen names, small
banners etc.... to let everyone know who they were. Plus everyone went
all out decorating their room, etc.... Every Halloween and NYE was like
that. Glad to see that some remember the tradition and it will be very
cool to see it again. However I do realize that some of the new party
guests will be leary to do it as you may not want others to find you
unless you want to be found. But it would be very cool for some of the
party veterans to lead the way and set the standard. Oh one side note. We did a walk through of the club tonight. Laid out the locations for the two dance floors. Positioned where the temporary bars will be. Took out some of the tables so that people will have room to move. Made sure that the UFC fight would be on the big screens (selfish request by Mr. DP). Moved the pool tables out of the way for Jules Jewels and Darryl B Photography. So we are ready for one wild night of Costumed Erotica. As mentioned earlier in the forum. You do not have to be a member of DesirousParty to attend this party or any of the DP parties. Just bring a party attitude and a desire to have fun. Because this can get very addicting. |

| We have received lots of calls from people wondering where are their tickets. This is a reminder. There are no tickets. When you prepay with Google Checkout. your information is automatically put on the list. All you will need when you get to the door is either your Google Checkout Email Receipt, or a valid ID. We will have the list of those who have prepaid at the door. Also once again, you DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF DP to attend this party. Although if you are planning to attend, please create a profile on DP and RSVP for the party, that way everyone will know who is going. Any questions feel free to ask |

| Cameras are allowed into the club. Not so sure on the hottub part but I will ask. The hotel is currently working on trying to get all 50 of our rooms together. They do have a group in there who is attending the air show so they are trying to separate us from them. With our late booking and transfer they are doing the best that they can as they wish to keep the peace. lol |
| You may either bring your confirmation payment sheet and or bring the I.D. that matches the name used to pre-pay. However it is much faster if you bring in your payment receipt as it saves time looking for your name on the vip pre-pay list. As it goes by the date you bought your tickets. |
| That is correct. DesirousParty is taking over the back 15,000 sq. ft of the club. Which means both the bottom main area and the entire second floor. We are solely responsible for all the promotion and we are bringing in our own DJ for the event. Ms. Monica will be taking care of the vip pre-pay list at the front door. So no matter where you are guests of DesirousParty will be everywhere. So be sure to mix n mingle on both levels as we are expecting over 500 people for this event. |
