Jun 22, 2007 7:54 PM (16+ Years) I was mistaken the Members online list was set to 10 Minutes, and not 5 like I thought. I have changed it to 2 minutes, this should make it more accurate as to who is really online right now.

Jun 22, 2007 7:41 PM (16+ Years) Keep in mind that the Members Online list is showing the all members online in the last 5 minutes. So after you goto a page, you will be listed as online for the next 5 minutes. Also a little info on how the chat works. when you are on the site and logged in. your browser every 10 seconds pings the server to see if anyone has sent you a chat request. If it finds one you get a popup. If we were to have real time Members online listing it would slow the server down too much. Something I might do is lower the timer from 5 minutes to 1 or 2 minutes. This will help keep the Members online list more current. If you try to IM someone and they don't respond it is likely they have already left the site. If this is becoming an issue let me know, and I will see what I can do to improve it a bit.
