Halloween Desirous 2009 2nd annual Pre-Halloween Fashion Show
| Thanks to all the ladies who participated in the fashion show last night. You definitely rocked the runway as the representatives from Legs Avenue and Dream Girls could not quit talking about all of you. Plus thanks to RickStar Photography for doing the photog work on the runway. He had the ladies popping, turning and strutting down the runway while his camera was working. Last but not least kudos to DJ Seismyc. He was mixing some of the best vocal house that we have heard on the decks in a very long time. The bar was set very high for Halloween night for his opening night set. We are working through about 600 pictures and will have everything added to the photo gallery in batches throughout the week. |
| For those that are interested. We will have the WEC mma fight on the big screen on the second level as well as the MLB playoff game if its still going on during the party. I am sure that most will not care as lot more will be going on. Buttttttt you never know. Oh and its become very apparent that we are getting alot of party guests who either do not rsvp or attend the parties and are not actual Dp site members because of discretion. As our last event had 19 rsvps and over 150 attended the party. So tomorrow night should be a very fun evening with some gorgeous models walking the runway. It definitely puts you into the Halloween spirit and several other spirits as well. |
We forget to mention that there will be a complimentary bbq buffet with salad bar until 10pm for the fashion show. Plus you may order from a full dinner menu as well.   |
| Spookers Halloween Warehouse will be handing out raffle tickets and will be giving out free Halloween costumes, discount coupons toward Halloween purchases and also free passes to their haunted house. For those that did not check out their haunted house last year. Well you missed out. But no worries as they created some new areas and its all new. Last year patrons were running out the exit door screaming which was a little unnerving for those going in. Well its even scarier this year. |
| There will be two 15 minute runway shows. The first show will be at 10pm and the models will be wearing one outfit. The second show will be at 11pm and will also be 15 minutes in length. Each model will be doing two outfit runs for the second segment. After that the party starts on the 2nd level vip section. We are working on a very special conversation piece on the dance floor for this event. Plus DJ Seismyc has been busy over the last two weeks creating some unique mixes for this event. So come ready to see some lovely ladies on the runway and then let the party begin. Special thanks to Spookers Halloween Wharehouse for providing all the costumes and allowing Dp to take part in the show for the second year. Last year over 100 party guests attended the after party on the vip floor so this year will be even bigger and better. |
Rick don't forget the lighting last year. We need to make sure they do the stage right this time around. Last year there was no lighting on the girls, which made pictures turn out like crap. We need to make sure they get some kind of overhead lighting to illuminate the runway this year. This is what a runway show is supposed to look like. Notice the stage is all lite up, but he crowd is dark. Hopefully the Club can do something like this. |
| We have posted the models to the Pre-Halloween Fashion Show party info which you can see by clicking on the party flier on the main page. DJ Seismyc will have the music reins for the event in the Dp vip lounge area on the 2nd floor. He is working on some special mixes that are mashed with old school rock and current dance tracks with his hot house mixes as well. Plus we are working on a special lounge area where DJ Seismyc will be set up which will also help entice the energy level just a wee bit. So we have a great fashion show lineup who will be walking down the runway in some of this years hottest Halloween fashions from Playboy, Legs Avenue, Dreams Girl plus other designers. It's also a great way to check out the club and decide where you want to start off the night on Halloween night for those who have not attended a Dp Halloween event yet. |
| We will once again be hosting the pre Halloween fashion show at the Ritz with Spookers Halloween Wharehouse. Last year was our first time to do this and it was a huge success. This years show will be shortened down into two 15 minute segments with a hour break between the two. Giving our fashion models time to prep and not rush from one clothing change to the next. All the details are being finalized and we hope to have the model invites sent out and have the guest models named within the week. Its a great way to get in the upcoming Halloween party anticipation flowing. Plus its been almost a year since we have been at the Ritz so its a great way to get the feel for the ambience of the venue again. |
