Websites New Changes and Updates for the DesirousParty.com Site.

Very good question as that is the only other LS site that we put Dp events on. We may do it for a time as long as we are allowed to. Certain events will be only be on Dp as some of those events will be no cover charge for members in good standing.

This is regarding emails you receive from the DesirousParty.com site to your inbox on yahoo, gmail, hotmail etc... If you see the emails going to your spam folder please add the site to your address book and or flag it as not spam. As many of the site notifications you get from your friends, events, etc... are getting put into spam folders and not being received by members, slowing down the correspondence between you and others on the site. 

October 4th, Pre Halloween Fashion Show, will be the first free event for members in good standing. Plus members who can only attend single events on Naughty School Girl weekend will get a reduced cover charge. So two events with member privileges and we will continue to have more in the future. 

We have added a alert tone to the IM feature. This way you can hear when someone IM's you on the site as well as when someone responds to your message. There will be a off button on top of the members online section which we are coding right now. 

The owners of TMZ have converted their personal profile over to a club profile. We also welcome thefirstfamily to the site today as well. So they are the first two promoter/club profiles on the site. You will be able to get updates to their events if you follow them. As you will receive internal site emails from them regarding their events. If you do not follow them then you will not get any emails from these two profiles or any other profiles of the sort. 

We also want to say a huge thanks to everyone who has upgraded to a VIP Lifetime member status. As we now have over 80 of these such profiles on the site. Lifetime member status will be available thru August 25th. 

We are bringing to your attention two of the new features that we mentioned earlier in this forum post. These are great new features especially if you like hosting house parties. 

1. All members in good standing will have the ability to create and host house parties. You can choose to invite all those that follow you and or  only select certain members who follow you. Only those you invite will see the event invite on the parties page tab located on the top menu bar. You create house parties by going to the left side of your screen under My Account and click on Events.  You will have the ability to send out a invite email to those who you invite or all who follow you regarding the house party.  This stops spamming of house events to other members who do not follow you.

2. We are inviting certain brick n mortar clubs to join the site. They will have the ability to create events that will be visible to all members/visitors on the parties tab section.  The venues will only be able to email  updates on their events to those who follow them. Therefore we control the amount of spam on the site which is always of utmost importance to us. So if you do not wish to get their emails do not follow them.  The brick n mortar clubs events will be visible to members and non members in the parties page located in the top menu bar.

Why we are using Zombaio

Most businesses enjoy the convenince of accepting credits cards for purchases made.  Businesses typically pay between 1 for extremely high volume ( think walmart ), to 3 for lower volume ( Selling stuff on Ebay ).  There are litterally hundreds of Credit Card gateway options for websites that cater to the mainstream.  Some of these gateways provide very nice API systems for website integration ( Paypal is a good example of this ).  

However, adult websites don't have the option of using mainstream payment options.  Due to the history of high chargebacks and fraud associated with adult content websites most payment processors refuse to work with them for fear of chargebacks or for political reasons.

This leaves most adult websites with only a few major credit card processors to work with.  Adult Credit Card Processing tends to cost about 15 per transaction for lower volume.  But the biggest cost is the Annual Mastercard and Visa Compliance fees.  These fees are $500 and $700 respectively.  

After a lot of searching we found Zombaio.  They were offering adult credit card processing for about 10 and had no annual fees from Visa, or Mastercard.  This allowed us to keep prices on subscriptions lower than if we used another payment processor. 

Ok thanks and yes that may be a issue. So if it is you can just write info@desirousparty.com with profile name and subscription desired. We will send a invoice and once paid we will convert your membership to that status. This is not recurring so a onetime invoice. It is also not a international transaction so this will sidestep the flag by your bank or c.c. provider. 

I noticed with our credit card purchase it was flagged as an international transaction. If the credit card company, by default, limits international transactions you may need to call your cc company and enable international transactions prior to paying.

As promised we had discussions today with a east coast based lifestyle party promotion group. They recently took over 50 couples to a resort in Jamaica this summer and are a up and coming party group for our east coast members. They should be on the site within the next few days and members who follow them can receive their event invites and emails. 

We have also talked to a Houston lifestyle venue and invited them to come on board as well. We will know within the next few days on their decision. We have added a trips menu button on the top menu bar. You can keep up to date with all parties and or trips in this section. As well as who is hosting the event etc.... The main page of Dp will continue to be strictly events that Dp is hosting but as mentioned you can see the full calendar in the top menu bar of all events and rsvp for them as well. 

If you are attempting to upgrade your membership and having problems with Zombaio which is our adult c.c. processor.

You may write us at info@desirousparty.com letting us know your profile name, which membership you are trying to purchase and we will send you a invoice to your email address. This will eliminate the problem with Zombaio and once the invoice is fulfilled we will change your membership to that status. This is for a one time purchase invoice so it will not be recurring and your membership will reflect the expiration date if there is one. This should help eliminate any issues if you are experiencing them as it sidesteps the adult c.c. processor. 

We have already surpassed 50 lifetime memberships on the site. As many have been part of this site for a very long time and we wish to be fair to everyone. We are going to keep lifetime memberships availalbe thru the end of August. As we have way more than 100 members who have been with us since we started this site in 2004. So its the fairest option and our way of saying thanks for making DesirousParty.com a very sexy private site that is only available to couples and single females. 

Your bank should be able to look at the charge when you call them and make it permitted to go through. 

Yup, mine is doing the same thing. Tried a couple of times but card keeps declining. 

Question: My c.c. is declining and there is nothing wrong with it?

Answer: Zombaio is our c.c. processor and is a adult site c.c. processor. So you might have to let your bank or c.c. company know the charge is permitted by you. If you tried to process your card for a lifetime membership we will honor that and make sure you are allowed to get one once your bank allows it. So no worries as we understand new security regulations on cc.'s. 

Question: Why is the site going paid?

Answer: When we brought forth the new site last September it was discussed in the forum that it was a possibility. Many had been requesting it for several years for privacy reasons as a free site garners some members who are not legit, etc... 

But in a nutshell it came down to expenses. What started off as a hobby became quite expensive as many members do not attend the events as we have members from across the U.S. and unable to attend. That was a big deciding facter as we looked at expenses over the last few years. The new site cost us more than 14k to create and code in new features over the past year. That does not include hosting etc...

We do not make money off advertising that you see on the site. As many of these companies help sponsor the events which helps keep cover charges down. Three of the dj's at Purgatory were 11k between fees, agents, travel expenses etc.. and we had more than three dj's. So we raised ticket costs to help defray costs but we still had lights, sound, hotel expenses, security, bartenders etc.. So basically it has gotten expensive to keep it all up and running, amping up the events and continue to do things the right way. 

So it was time to bring the site paid as we wish to help defray all the expenses and yet at the same time continue to bring forth new features, more top dj's from across the globe to the events and continue the quality site we brought forth ten years ago. 

So a monthly membership is $13.95. Two people can not go to the movies nowadays and get all the sexy excitement you find on the site. lol So we kept the cost low and members will get a few free events throughout the year as well. So it pays for itself to be a member if you wish to attend the events. Just wanted to set the matter straight as we have gotten several emails as people have alreay started spreading rumors and nontruths about what was going on. So if you wish to know the truth about something we appreciate you emailing as we will be happy to explain things. Which we have been doing. 

Question: You mentioned free events for members throughout the year. How many free events?

Answer: To be honest we have not determined that as of yet. But the first free event will be October 4th and we are finalizing details on that event. But all members in good standing will have no cover charge who rsvp on the site. Non members will have to pay the cover charge. 

Question: I am trying to purchase lifetime membership for $99 and its says 1 year only.

Answer: The payment processor does not recognize a lifetime membership. So the first 100 $99 memberships we are automatically converting on our site to a lifetime membership. This will be displayed in your subscription section as a lifetime membership. In the future all those who purchase lifetime memberships will have this displayed on their profiles as well. 

A year ago after listening to many of our members. We re-introduced a brand new version of DesirousParty.com that gave our members a greater sense of privacy, discretion and usability. Over the last year we have continued to introduce new features on the members side of the site and  tweaked our requirements for new members to join as we strived to insure that only real couples and single females joined the site.

Members continued to ask the ever present question, when is the site going paid? As many feel that a paid site helps eliminate fake profiles that so many sites have. We have been a free site for 10 years but it has gotten to the point with adding new features , hosting, paying for the creation of the new site and the expense of continuing to upgrade the site to bring new features.  Well its gotten quite expensive. We debated this over the last few years. As we want to take the site to the next level and that is building a select private site for our members from across the globe. A site where you can be as private as you wish to be or as wild and have the ability to meet like minded people.  Going to a paid site will help eliminate  potential fake profiles  and profiles that have not been active on the site for a long period of time. We would rather have a few hundred profiles active on the site as that makes it much more interesting for active members and they will help spread word of mouth about the site.  As our motto has always been quality over quantity. We do not strive to be the biggest site out there as we eliminate single males from joining which makes up a large nucleus of many sites. We strive to just have a unique, quality and very sexy membership base and at the end of the day we are very happy with that.

Along with the many new features we have introduced recently. We are releasing several new features that not only will continue to add to the privacy and discretion of our members but will also get them more involved.  

Updates-New Features:

3. We will also allow certain LS promoters to come onto the site. They will follow the same rules as a house event. Only members seeing their events or receiving their emails will be those that follow them. Non members will not see these events.

4. The main members page of DesirousParty.com will only display events that Dp is hosting/sponsoring. Meaning your hosts are organizing these events and will be the same quality events you have grown accustomed to over the years. We feel this is important to our members and party guests and keeps the main page uncluttered. 

5. Photos galleries starting with all galleries for 2014 will be viewable to members only. We will eventually convert the last few years as well. Non members will only be able to view photos that show the event, dj's, set up etc.... all other photos will be on the members side only. This will give our members/guests utmost privacy and discretion. Plus we can raise the bar on the sexiness of the photos as only members will see them. Yes we will continue to blur your faces.

6. We are uploading software where members can watermark their photos with their profile name if they so choose. This will go through the middle of the photos which helps eliminate copying of photos and aids to our members security and privacy. We also giving members the option to also watermark the Dp logo onto their photos as well.

Membership Fees:

Like our events we strived to give our member the best cost that we could with processing charges etc.. But as you can tell what it cost to be a member of the site is what most would pay for a  mixed drink at many upscale clubs.  So we feel it gives the members a good quality site for a reasonable low cost. Plus this will enable us to bring some new features to the site in the future that was not financially feasible in the past.

Members in good standing will also get several free events over the course of the year. Which will help offset the cost of a membership on the site. These will be listed on the site and if it's a free event for members it will be displayed such in the cover charge section.

Lifetime Memberships- $99 (available thru August 25th). The lifetime membership is valid for the life of the site or as long as your profile stays current and in good standing. If you delete your membership, violate member rules and get removed from the site etc.. then the lifetime membership is no longer valid. Please see the Terms of Use section of the site for more information regarding this. Located at the bottom of the page. 

Monthly Membership- $13.50- good for 30 days

We also will have 3 month, 6 month memberships and the yearly membership will be $99 once the lifetime memberships are sold out.

We hope that our current membership understands the necessity to go to a paid site. Not only will it insure a more quality, private and discrete membership society. It will also give us the ability to improve and bring to you new features as well as help us continue to improve the events we host throughout the year as well.
