Party Ideas Lastrada's on Saturday
| Just wanted to say a big thank you well in advance of tomorrow nights RP.M. party. As we are not a permanent location club but a very select society of couples and single females. We have always said we prefer quality members and guests over quantity. With that being said this is our largest rsvp list to date for a Lastrada event. We have always said Dp events at Lastrada bring out the whose who ooh la la and we really appreciate everyone who has rsvped, passed the word and whom we will meet tomorrow night. Plus all the party guests who will be coming out for the very first time to a Dp event. See all of you sexxies tomorrow night. |
| If you place a call around 130am it should not be a problem. As most people in that part of town wait until 2am and then it could take a little while. The Dp door girl (Monica) can make that call for you whenever you get ready at the end of the night. |

| There are several hotels that are close by. Some are the Crown Plaza, Magnolia and Hilton of the Americas. All are very cool hotels but there are several more very close by. Glad to see you guys coming out. Lastrada is a very nice small venue that seems to pull the whose who oh so sexxy crowd. Makes mixing and mingling very easy and it just has a very nice ambience. |
| After a two month break we are heading back to Lastrada for our R.P.M. Desrious party. The group had a very busy July so we are back to the parties on the terrace at Lastrada. As its August and the weather can we warm at night. The club has put up more fans to circulate the cool night air on the terrace. Plus there will be no other groups in house after the restaurant closes and we will have access to both levels of the venue. DJ's Eddie Spettro and Seismyc are back for round three. These two DJ's definitely put the south beach Miami feel into Lastrada. It's going to be a very sexxy evening as one can only imagine the attire the ladies will be wearing for their own selection of RockStars, PornStars and MovieStars. |
| Just wanted to say thanks to all who came out last night. As it was our biggest event at Lastrada to date. This made two consecutive events at Lastrada where we pulled a very select whose who HOT crowd. Kudo's to DJ's Seismyc and Eddie Spettro who definitely put some energy into the rooftop terrace. Oh and a big shout out to Scott our bartender who had his frozen drinks flowing. Plus of course all the ever so sexxy ladies of Dp who definitely once again represented what the site and Dp society is all about. |
| Here is the DJ itinerary for this Saturdays party at Lastrada. DJ Spettro will start off the night at 10pm with DJ Seismyc doing a thirty minute set around 1030pm and another around midnight. These two DJ's worked together perfectly at the last event and made for a nice evening. For those with questions about Lastrada. It's the perfect evening for new party guests to come out or for those who wish to mix n mingle. As the venue is a little smaller and it gives everyone a chance to meet n greet and get climated to a Dp event. The rooftop at Lastrada has a nice upscale South Beach lounge feel. Combine that with these two DJ's and the ever sexxy guests of Dp. You end up with one Drop Dead Sexxy Event. Be sure to check out the party pics from our last event at Lastrada and you will get a feel for the evening. |
| We are returning for a 2nd party at Lastrada in June. The theme is our classic Drop Dead Sexxy theme. We invite the ladies to come out in whatever they feel sexxy in. It's Fathers Day weekend and its the perfect venue to help him celebrate. Bring your favorite guy in, treat him to a great dinner and atmosphere. Then join us the Dp group in the upstairs ultra lounge from 9pm to 2am. We are bringing back both DJ's that played the White Hot Summer Nights party. Plus for those who like UFC MMA fights. We will have the Utimate Fight Championships on all three t.v.'s in the upstairs bar area. So we have all the basics covered for your favorite guys. Great food in a great atmophere, the sexxy crowd of Dp dressed in their sexiest fashions and two great DJ's playing the hottest mixes of dance, hip hop and house. From there you can take it to the next level and meet some very awesome party guests of Dp. |
| Who knows what mother nature will decide to do tomorrow night. But if its raining, Lastrada has a covered awning to step under as you exit your car in the vip area. Plus we will drop the sides on the rooftop lounge to keep Ms.Nature out if necessary. Either way its going to be a great night and hopefully we will have some if not all sides of the rooftop lounge open for a great party. |
| We spoke to the club on Friday and they will be having a beer and mixed drink special until 1030pm in the upstairs lounge bar only. Budweiser beer brands will be $3 and Scott (lounge bartender) will come up with the mixed drink special that night. As he likes to get creative from time to time and throw a surprise our way. The restaurant will stop seating guests upstairs in the lounge area at 8pm. However if you tell them you are with the DesirousParty group they will seat you upstairs after that time if you so wish. This way the upstairs lounge area will be for DP party guests only after 930pm. |
| DJ Eddie Spettro will be holding the music reins for our return to Lastrada. You know his face and you know his music will have the rooftop ultra lounge moving with the latest mashes, remixes and old school that our events at Lastrada are known for. He takes over the turn tables at 10pm and before that we will have soft jazz and assorted mixes playing so that you can mix n mingle. |
| The warm weather is back! La Strada has a great open air quality no other venues offer. Looking forward to the future Dp's there! See ya on the rooftop...midtown! La Strada!!!! |
| Just a malicious rumor being spread. lol Looking forward to hanging out in the upstairs lounge. Between the people, music, food and the view from the upstairs lounge it makes for a great evening. Just mixing, mingling, watching everyone start dancing where they are at. The whole place has a great vibe. A vibe you dont realize until you step away for a little while and then you are ready for more. Of course the drinks made by Scott do help loosen those inihibitions a little and get the party hopping. Anyways we are heading back and working Lastrada into our party schedule as it gives the south end of the city a great venue to come and party with us in. Glad to hear you guys missed it and will be there. See you soon. |

| Still waiting on the DJ to be named. However we talked to Lastrada and got a cover special worked out for this event. No cover before 930pm, $10/couple till 11pm and $20 after. Working on drink specials as well. |
| We are in the process of selecting a DJ for the upcoming Lastrada event. This should be updated in the event info in the next few days. We've narrowed it down to two and just seeing which one is available. Either way its going to be a good selection of music on this night to party on the upstairs patio as the weather has been beautiful. |
| We had a great crowd of new couples who came out on Saturday night. It was great seeing some many new faces which made for a great mixer that evening. Not sure if we met everyone but if not thanks for coming out and thank you to all the ladies for dressing ever so sexxy and to the gentlemen for dressing to impress. Oh and if you stayed around to the end thanks to those ladies who decided that it was just a little to HOT in the lounge. You had to be there. We are going to be taking the month of March off at Lastrada as they have some DJ concert events upcoming but we will be back in April. So be sure to stay updated on the DP events page for the next date. |

| This forum topic has fallen by the wayside here recently so thought I would bring it back to the forefront. As we are getting some emails inquiring about the Saturday night events. The main question everyone wants to know is what thy can or cannot wear to the events as Lastrada is a restaurant. The first thing I like to point out is that Lastrada is located within the Montrose and the museum district areas. So they are used to the extravagant, flamboyant, edgy attitudes and attire. Lastrada is geared on Saturday nights toward the crowd who is out and about looking for something to do or on their way to do it. You get this impression when you walk inside and the restaurant has soft house music playing in the background, a full active bar and large groups of people eating dinner together. Its a active upscale crowd who is looking for a good time. With that said the restaurant starts shutting down at 10pm and they have given DesirousParty full reins of both levels of the restaurant at that point. So if you are coming in after 10pm and you are wearing something revealing such as a lacey garment with pasties underneath. Just throw a coat over the top of it and after 10pm the party will be in full swing and there will be no worries. At the same time if you want to dress to impress with a revealing plunging neckline that you could not wear elsewhere for dinner. Then coming in early for dinner and then moving upstairs to the ultra lounge will be no problem either. Now for the other question. The weather is getting colder and most of our parties will be in the rooftop ultra lounge. We are already geared to drop the side of the lounge down and have large tower space heaters. Plus we will be making the downstairs area into another lounge atmosphere with large red couch vip seating areas. So no matter where you are you will be able to hear the music of DJ Eddie Spettro. We ask the guys to always dress to impress and the ladies may dress as they desire. With that said and from past DP events. The ladies know that there is nothing to wild in their attire for this crowd. Because the more risque the fashion the more energy is into the room. Because after all. DesirousParty is all about the ladies and making sure that they feel sexxy, HOT and alluring!! |
