| Mr. DP is bringing two different costumes and will be doing a change around midnight. It seemed to work pretty well last year and this year I have a theme going. Ms. C is undecided and probably will decide as we head out the door. lol |

| I cant honestly remember not seeing anyone over the last five years who was not in costume. Even the staff dresses up. It's one party that everyone dresses in theme. Counting the days as its getting closer. Oh and just a side not for those wishing to partake in a haunted house. Spookers Haunted House was ranked #1 in Houston by the Houston Chronicle for having the scariest haunted house. Now I dont feel so bad for jumping a time or two. |
| I will be placing a call on Monday in regards to trying to get all of the 50 rooms put in the same area as they havent assigned room numbers yet. The hotel does know about our group and knows its a Halloween party. So hopefully even with the last minute hotel change we should still be able to have our after hour meet n greets. Although the floors may be mixed we are trying our best to get our own area. I will keep everyone updated. |
| We were wondering. After the party, will we be allowed to roam the party floor and mix and mingle? Just wanted to know ahead of time, so we wont break any hotel rules. |
The Marriott (.2 of a mile down from the Courtyard) still has rooms, if anyone is still looking for a hotel. |

| Because the majority of the people do Halloween night with their families (if they have kiddos) so we always try to hold it the Saturday before. This way everyone can come out and play. |
| First and foremost thanks for everyones input and interest in this years Halloween party. Just a reminder that tomorrow is the final day for the pre-sale. We are getting this question alot in the last few days. You do not have to be a member of the site to attend this party or in fact any party that DP hosts. Membership does have its privileges but is not required to attend. Oh and just to give everyone an idea on how big this party is going to be. Last year we had 102 couples rsvp. As of this post we are at 123 couples. So evidently the word is getting out on what a great party this is. Make sure to check out the October 24th pre-party at Lastrada. Plus we will be having a mix n mingle at the hotel bar on the day of the party from 4:30-6:30pm. Again thanks for all the interest and all the forum posts. So get ready to party DP style! DJ Kevin Seitz is ready to crank off this party and we are going to make this a six hour Halloween Erotica. So get your rest as you are going to need it. lol |
| We've been the last 3years and had a blast. We will be there this year as well. We have a room reserved for Saturday as well. Hope to see everyone there. |
| There were five rooms left as of yesterday in the Saturday night block. However with "winelovers" taking two rooms that should leave us three rooms and perhaps less as I am sure that others booked as well. I will call on Monday and get a update. We are getting ready to list more more features for the Halloween party. Just had a meeting at the club and you better be ready for this party. They are already breaking out the Halloween decorations and going to start laying out the club early. Two important notes that some have been asking about. 1. We will have discounted drink prices for the DP Halloween party. Which means downstairs and upstairs as well. All bars and beer wells will have reduced prices over normal club prices. Plus we have added additional beer wells and temp. bars throughout the club. The alcohol sponsors this year will be Captain Morgan Rum (yes Mr. Captain Morgan and his girls will be there), Vox vodka and DeKyper brands (puckers, butternipples etc...) 2. Last but not least. In the past the upstairs vip area would get a little warm when we brought a huge crowd up there. This problem as been taken care of as they have added a 15 ton a/c. Our goal is to have the club at 65 degrees at 8pm so that it will stay comfortable for everyone who will be in costumes. So no worries there. 4 more days for the $45 pre-sale on tickets. After the 15th, tickets prices will be $55. We are not going to increase this price and you may pay online or at the door on the night of the party. |
| Okay here is the latest and greatest on the Hotel room block. 12 rooms have been reserved for Friday night. I was able to get an additional 5 rooms added to the group block. So that leaves us 8 rooms remaining on Friday night. On Saturday night we have reserved a total of 38 rooms thus far leaving 12 rooms in the block. The hotel is still saying that they doubt they can add any additional rooms to the block due to rooms needing to be reserved for those who are still staying there due to Hurricane Ike damage to their homes. So in closing, 8 rooms left on Friday night and 12 rooms left on Saturday night and we will then be sold out. Grab them while you can. The hotel is also going to try and put us on one side of the hotel. They are going to do the best they can to handle our group with the last minute hotel change. We will also still be running two Limos as we expect quite a few rooms to be doubled up with four guests so we want to make sure we have adequate transportation for everyone. |
The Pre-Halloween Meet n Greet has been posted on the main page. The event is open to everyone as all are invited. However it would be great to have as many members rsvp as possible so that others can see who will be there etc.... That way it kinda breaks the ice a little for all of our town party guests this year. Just saves a little time when you get to the club and you are trying to figure who is who. Because trust me when I explain the following nights Halloween party. The costumes are top notch and for many there is no way of telling who is who at that point. |
| Just to let everyone know as we get this question alot last year. Your pre-paid confirmation email that you get will be your ticket into the event. Ms. Monica will also have a list of all the pre-paid vip's. If you do not have your confirmation no worries. Just bring your I.D. that matches the name of the person who paid for the tickets. As we will be getting you into the party quickly as we will have a pre-paid line and another line for those who are paying at the door. It's also confirmed that Lastrada will be the location for the Pre-Halloween party. There will be a party posting on the main page soon. |

| Okay here is the latest Hotel update. 25 rooms have been reserved so far leaving 25 rooms left in the room block. If you are calling the local number you may request the DP Halloween group block. I was also told that you may use "OCT" as well if calling either the local or toll free number. We will also be having a Hotel meet n greet at the hotel bar on Saturday at 4:30pm. Still working on the details but the time is set. Plus we are still working on a place for Friday night pre-party for all the out of town guests coming in. |
 She has a costume already and looking for a date to the Halloween party. However rumor has it that she thinks she really is a cow and may pee on you. But hey, some are into it. |
| Just read a previous post. Its the Courtyard Marriott. The Marriott from last year is damaged like our previous host hotel and will not open till after thanksgiving as well. But the Courtyard Marriott is still just a few blocks from The Ritz and easy for everyone to get to. Thanks for all the posts from everyone helping each other out. |
