Decadence Ball NYE Q and A for New Years Eve

Welcome to the new Decadence Ball party threads. This New Year’s Eve, the creators of colette and Desirous Party, two nightlife icons, unite to present a night of elegance, passion, and indulgence. 

Welcome to the new Decadence Ball playground for NYE 2025. For the past 25 years, DesirousParty has produced high-energy, sexy, and classy NYE parties. This year, we are excited to team up and produce the Decadence Ball in Dallas. In previous years, we produced the Revolution NYE party, and Revolution will now evolve into one of the two ballrooms at the Decadence Ball.  

Every year, we get quite a few questions regarding the NYE parties. Once again this year, we are starting the festivities a day early with the Eve of Eve- Pink Reign on December 30th. Then, for NYE, it will be Decadence Ball- A Night of Vogue. This year, NYE will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson, Texas. This will be a two-night total hotel takeover. 

Two nights of New Year's Eve festivities. Including pre-party mixers, headline DJs, two DJ stages, two sensual themes, a full hotel event on both days, a nationwide guest list, and, of course, guest after parties. These Q&As will help answer quite a few of the questions.

What does the ticket price include?

The ticket price is valid for 1 couple (two people) and gains you admittance to all stages and event areas for NYE. Plus the complimentary champagne toast. The rest of the night is a la carte as you build your own NYE package. Reserved table bottle service is available but not mandatory. If you wish to have a NYE dinner, the hotel has created an incredible sit-down dinner. Cash, c.c. bars are available for those who wish to drink. You can also get a room at the host hotel to make a full night of it. So unlike some parties, where you are made to buy one party package. With Decadence Ball NYE, you have a choice to make it your own experience. 

What should we wear for Pink Reign?

Ladies- a night of Pink royalty. Wear something daring. Get lost in the music. Make eye contact that says everything without a word. By the word Royalty we mean you, the guest. Stand out in the crowd with your own personal Pink Reign look. Should you do different clothing changes? Yes, of course, if that suits your desire. 

Gentleman- dress in a pink fashion or dress to impress. However, no shorts, no ballcaps (fedoras, cowboy hats etc.. may be worn), shirts must be worn at all times, no sandals. It's NYE, so dress up, not down. 

What should we wear for the Decadence Ball- A Night of Vogue

Ladies- You set the tone for the evening as the spotlight is on you. Adorn your bodies in your sexiest fashions. Risque, sheer, elegant, body-hugging, long, short, low cut, backless, lacy, sequins; the fashion possibilities are limitless. Choose fashion or choose seduction. Perhaps choose both and make all eyes on you for a midnight clothing change. We get a lot of questions in regards to do we have to stay in fashionable attire all night. Of course not, as it's your NYE. Many start the night off with sexy attire such as lingerie or change into it after midnight. 

Gentlemen- Suits and tuxes are not mandatory. But fashionable flair is encouraged. It is Texas, and cowboy hats and other fashionable headware are accepted (fedoras, etc.) However, no shorts, no ballcaps, no sandals, and shirts must be worn at all times. It's NYE, so dress up, not down. Dress code will be enforced. Some are asking if the gents may change after midnight. Yes, of course, but please stay in fashionable club attire. 

Parties For Couples and Single Ladies Only?

When your wife /girlfriend gets dressed up in your typical Sexy Outfit, it usually means she will be the center of attention wherever you go. If you were to go to a normal bar, you would have to deal with single males and or the other females who would give her dirty looks, just because she looks good. This is one of the main reasons DesirousParty.com started, and why we are excited to now produce the Decadence Ball.  We wanted to provide a safe environment for you and your significant other to party with other like-minded people.  Everyone is respectful of everyone else, and the girls can dress as wild or mild as they like without having to deal with all the drama of the other places. 

What kind of Music will be played at the party?

The Decadence Ball Grand Ballroom will be top 40 dance remixes, party anthems, and dance favorites that put the female body on the dance floor.  Our DJs know how to play sets that put the bodies in motion, whether they are on the dance floor, mixing and mingling, or dancing where they stand. They love to create a sexy vibe and basically move the energy all over the board during their sets. So expect to dance the night away on both nights.  Song requests are not taken....as it is literally impossible to control the energy of 700-plus guests with random song requests and makes the DJ's job very hard. All our artists have been in the industry for 15 plus years and know how to amp up the party vibe ..Also the Grand Ballroom and Atrium stage will have music that is opposite of each other. So if you do not like the vibe of one stage. Please check the other. 

Decadence Grand Ballroom -  This is the place where the seduction starts, transformed into an intimate den of curated beats, seductive dance lighting, remixes from the 80s, 90s, 2000s, and anything that puts the bodies in motion. Party anthems from all the decades. 

Revolution Ballroom -  Revolution will transform into a dance club atmosphere similar to what you would find in Las Vegas or Miami. Meaning DJs will spin the latest EDM hits, along with old school dance remixes. Each DJ will have their own feel to the night.

We produce the event to give a wide variety of guests who like different music genres a great experience. 

Who goes to the Decadence Ball?

Decadence Ball will cater to the upscale crowd from across the nation who go the extra mile to stand out in the crowd. This is not your typical thrown-together club NYE party, many are accustomed to. Upscale, classy, sexy describes the venue, the NYE party, and the crowd. The ages range from mid-20s to mid-60s. Vanity might be a good word to describe the party guests.  They are people who take care of themselves. They work out and live a healthy lifestyle.  They have high standards for the way they live and for who they mingle with. The women come dressed oozing sex appeal, and the guys dress in fashionable attire.  Couples fly in from all over the country to attend this event. 

Will this be a total hotel event for NYE Weekend?

Yes, both nights will be a total hotel takeover of the Renaissance Hotel.  The first night on Eve of Eve, the entire event will be held in the Revolution ballroom. Also on NYE daytime, we will host the Brassy Babes in Brunch in the Grand Atrium. Three female DJs, a musician, sexy house beats, and the main hotel bar and lounge will be the place to be. Then on NYE, we will open the Decadence Grand Ballroom with two stages that night. If you desire a place to sit. We highly suggest reserving a bottle service table for the evening. But hey, who wants to sit when you can mix, mingle, and party all night long?

Why Couples Only Party?

 Do not confuse Couples and Single Ladies' events with necessarily meaning the much-stigmatized sex-style party that the general public thinks about. Yes, it's an open-minded crowd from all walks of the lifestyle. Plus, granted our events make for a very sensual and erotic atmosphere, but don't expect to walk in and see people having sex on the tables. As that is not allowed. People attend the NYE party for many reasons.  From the sexy party guests, ambiance and atmosphere of the club style party, amenities, the theme, renowned DJs, and an upscale girl's gone wild atmosphere where you can feel secure to dance the night away. Plus, it's a great way to see friends and meet new people.  What people do when they leave the party behind closed doors is up to everyone's own secret desires.  

Do the guys have to wear formal wear?

No, you do not. Just dress to impress. No tennis shoes, no ballcaps, etc We understand that this is Texas and many feel comfortable in starched jeans, a Stetson, etc... Due to this year's theme, many gentlemen will wear tuxes, suits, slacks, etc. But just dress to impress and have a great time. (see above dress code party thread)

Oh, and yes, Ladies. There will be clothing changes, and most ladies will be changing into lingerie during the night. It's all about the ladies. Some ladies will make multiple changes. However, you can stay in your NYE finest and just enjoy the spectacle around you. Your desire is our desire. It's all about having fun and leaving the real world behind. 
 

Can we bring our own Alcohol?

No, the hotel will have cash/credit card bars throughout the event areas and does not allow you to bring your own bottles, cups, etc No outside beverages are allowed into the party event areas.  

Will there be a pool or hot tub? Is it clothing optional?

Yes, there is an indoor pool at the hotel. However, it is not topless or clothing-optional due to hotel rules.

How do I pre-pay for the party?

Click on the New Year's Eve flier. You will see a pre-pay button under the event pre-pay section. Just click there, and it will take you through the steps.

I purchased pre-sale tickets and have not received my tickets yet.

Your pre-sale transaction receipt is your ticket to the event. If you do not have it, no worries. Just present the I.D. that matches the payment information. Each purchase is good for one couple. We will have a pre-pay VIP line to get you into the party quickly. Just present one of the two (ID or receipt) to our door staff , and that's all you need to do. It pretty much works as a  "Will Call" line, but much faster.

Will there be, and can we get reserved tables for this event? Will there be a bottle service?

If requesting bottle service, then yes, this will get you a table reservation for the night. Reserved tables for bottle service will be in select VIP premiere tables near the dance floor with a great view of the DJs. Please write info@desirousparty.com and table reservations for this event.

What time can we check into the hotel, and do we have to rsvp for the meet and greet at the hotel?

You may check into the hotel at 2 pm on either day. Like all events, you do not have to rsvp. Many couples will start their pre-meet and greets as soon as they hit the hotel and get their rooms settled in. It's honestly a twelve to fifteen-hour party for some. For others, it's just a nice way to get away from the kiddos for a night, let their hair down, so to speak, and have a little adult quality time between the two of them.

Will there be a coat check?

Yes, we will have a coat check set up on each night. 

If I want to start out the evening in a formal dress and change into lingerie or something more risque,  may I?

Ladies, this party, like all DesirousParty events, is all about you. You may start the evening in whatever fashion statement you wish and change throughout the evening. However, no topless is allowed in the public areas. 

Will the DJs take requests?

No song requests are accepted. Requests make it virtually impossible to build the energy, and it's like selecting songs from a jukebox, as it's all over the place. We want to give everyone a great experience, ambiance, and vibe. Thank you for understanding, and the DJs will watch the dance floor and audience to make sure that people are dancing either on the dance floor or where they stand as the party progresses. 

Can I take pictures?

Yes, however, make sure you are only taking pictures of yourself and your friends.  Many of our Members wish to stay private, so please do not walk around taking pictures of people you don't know.   

Will bottle service be available?

Yes. If you are interested in bottle service/ table reservations, please email info@desirousparty.com

Q: Is smoking allowed inside?

A: No, smoking is allowed only outside, and the hotel has smoke areas set up outside. 

Q: Will there be private rooms?

A: No, this is considered an off-premise party. Hence, the hotel rooms are for all the after-party fun. 

Q: Can nipples, butts, and topless be shown?

A: No nudity is allowed. Please cover up until you get to the event areas on Eve of Eve. A coat rack is outside the event area. Pasties, bras, thongs, etc... are ok inside the event area. But no nudity. Itsy bitsy is ok, but nipples must be covered. 

We are adding additional basic NYE party info to the section. Many questions that address the where, when, and how. Also, firm rules regarding party behavior and respecting the privacy and protection of others.

Alcohol Policy: There will be cash/credit bars at all events. Hotel guests can also charge to their rooms. No outside food, beverages, camelbacks, bags, backpacks, etc.,.. are allowed into event areas. Security heavily enforces this rule.   

Music: See DesirousParty.com and click on the NYE flier for a full list of DJs and their times. These will be updated closer to the event.

Play Areas: We let guests make their own play areas in their rooms. Hence the group blocks to amp up the after-party. There are no hosted after-party play areas. What you do behind closed doors is for your own fun. 
 

Event Rules: Below are basic rules for the event to be used as guidelines for conduct.

1. Desirous Party nor Decadence Ball never shares guest information with anyone, so please ask guests directly for their contact information at the party.
2. All guests should respect the dignity of others. No violence or rude conduct toward a guest or staff will be permitted.
3. This event is for couples and single females only. Couples must arrive together to receive wristbands. 
4. No means no, so if someone tells you no, you need to respect this decision.
5. Please ask for the consent of others before touching.
6. There is a no-tolerance policy against drugs or prostitution.
7. Overly intoxicated guests will be asked to leave the party area or will be denied entrance.
8. Please respect the venue at all times by keeping it clean and picking up after yourself. If you have an accident, please do your best to clean up and/or notify staff to help you
9. No cameras, cell phone cameras, are recording devices are permitted for use. Desirous Party will have special photographers on hand for event photos. All photos will be blurred as well, which is a standard policy of DesirousParty.
