Everyone will be receiving this welcome letter upon checking into the DoubleTree. However we like to post it early for those who miss it and or have questions ahead of time. A educated party guest we have found is the key to one heck of a party weekend. 10th Annual Purgatory Party Weekend Your hosts with DesirousParty.com would like to welcome you and say thank you for joining us at the DoubleTree for what has become an epic party weekend. Huge thanks to RWB Vodka for sponsoring the event so be sure to ask for it at the bars. You may purchase and or pick up your wristbands at any event starting at 3pm on Friday. Below is listed the weekend timeline of events. The hotel will have buffets available all weekend in the restaurant plus a full menu as well. There will also be a pool menu available, lounge menu in Sundance as well as room service. You must have a drink ticket to purchase drinks at the bar in the pool and ballrooms. Cash, c.c. or charge to the room in Sundance Lounge. There will be cashiers available in event areas and or you may purchase tickets in Sundance as well. Tickets may be billed to your room. No outside drinks/thermal cups, water bottles, food etc.. allowed into the event areas. This is the only way that the Doubletree allows us to host these parties. They give us cheap drink and bottle prices and love our crowd. So lets play by the rules so we can continue to host Purgatory here. Please note when the pool opens in schedule as we will have the pool under maintenance (shocking) in the off hours. Ladies due to state TABC laws and the City of Houston you may not be topless in the pool. So itsy bitsy is fine but please keep all appropriate areas covered while in public. As well as when roaming the halls, elevators etc.. please be courtesy to hotel staff and guests and be properly clothed. However what you wear or do not wear behind closed doors is to your own enjoyment. For the main event we realize risqué is the theme. Pasties are okay as well as skimpy attire. We will have a coat check set up outside the grand ballroom if you need it until you get into the event. Shackty's Pleasure Box Boutique will be set up in the main esplanade all weekend long for your shopping pleasure. The owners are a part of our group so they know what the ladies desire. So if you have need something you forgot, added accessories or just something you desire. Then they will have it. Still getting lots of questions on theme nights. So we are posting again as we do not want any ladies mad at the hosts as they did not know what to wear. lol Friday Night- Heavenly Glow- All White attire. There are great pictures posted from last years Purgatory 2014 in the gallery with how the crowd dressed. You can be as wild as you desire. Just no nudity. Saturday Night- Purgatory, Heaven or Hell- let your imagination roam free. Devils, angels, fairies, nymphs, unicorns, body paint............. . Pool parties. - itsy bitsy is fine. Just no nudity, no topless etc....

Yes, you can pay the difference on Friday when you arrive. Difference will be $60 and Monica our door girl will give you all event wristbands. Glad you guys can make it the entire weekend. |
We originally bought tickets for Saturday, and were unable to attend Friday. Schedules have realigned and we would like to purchase Friday as well. Is there a way to trade a single day ticket for a full weekend?

Here is the updated weekend itineraries with Theme nights for both nights included. Friday night is Heavenly Glow-All White. Saturday night is Purgatory-angels, devils, nymphs, fairies, unicorns, butterflies or whatever you think will be in Purgatory. Friday 2pm- Hotel Check in Starts Saturday |
Ok, and here we go. The next event up is Purgatory. We are less than a month away now and all eyes are on this event. Nationwide guest list, dj's are set and we are now amping up to the event that everyone has been talking about since January. We still have a few more surprises up our sleeve. So if you attended in years past expect the unexpected. One big change this year is we brought in Essential Sound Production to create this years light and sound show. Our old company has always done a tremendous job of putting some serious energy into the events. However we wanted a new change and a unique perspective this year. ESP said we could do this and WOW the crowd so we are giving them the reins to Purgatory this year. They have been in the studio for the last two weeks creating two different light shows for Friday and Saturday nights in the grand ballroom. So get ready to feel the party this year. Sooooo time to focus on Purgatory, start trying on the party pants, creating some costume theme outfits and get ready for 2015's Purgatory, Heaven or Hell, party weekend. It's almost countdown time. |
We have surpassed 120 rooms in the group block and we now have over 200 couples rsvped on three sites for the weekend festivities. With couples coming from as far as Canada and across the U.S. So this is shaping up to be another epic party weekend. Thanks to everyone who has been spreading the word about the event and the website. |
Ok the hotel is working on the glitch in their reservation system. It should be fixed shorlty. We have quite a few reservations at the higher rate of $129 and the hotel is honoring the group rate of $112. So if you have a reservation at the higher rate just call the hotel and speak to Angela Corns, our group coordinator, and she will fix your reservation. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

Fyi When trying to book a room for Sat night only it says no rooms available for the DP Block. There are other rooms available for a similar price but not sure if they are in the same location with other Dp guests. For some reason it seems it will only let you book Thurs-Sat. with the Dp block. Not sure if this is a glitch or a mistake. Should we check with the hotel directly? Thanks! Israel & Tara

New Purgatory flier with Dj Bizonee added. I believe that we have comprised a list of dj's that can move those bodies in the Purgatory tradition. We have all genres of music covered and once again a U.S. wide guest list. Also just a reminder to everyone that Shacktys Pleasurebox will have a toy, lingerie,shoe boutigue set up at the hotel for your shopping pleasure.  |

As promised we continue to roll out new editions to the party lineup for Purgatory. Dj Bizonee has been added to the dj lineup and will be pool side from 6 to 9pm on Friday. You have heard him on Houston radio plus he has made his name spinning the hottest clubs. Currently spinning the airwaves on Saturday nights and on Saturdays he is poolside at the San Luis Hotel in Galveston. So we are super excited about having him join the Purgatory lineup to launch the weekend in a very big way. Come ready to party from the moment you set your bags in your room. |

We had a event meeting with our Purgatory sponsor, RWB Vodka, today. RWB Vodka will be giving away free swag bags full of goodies for everyone who purchases the VIP all event passes. So as you check in to receive your wrist bands on Friday you will also get a free swag bag as well. We heard a few things that will be in the bags and they will definitely spice up the weekend. |
We continue to add dj's to the line up for Purgatory weekend. Dj Red (not to be confused with ShadowRed) has been added to the weekend lineup. He was the headliner for the 2010 NYE Ball. He was the headline for many Dp events in 2009 and 2010. So glad to have him back with us. We have also added Dj Enrique Garay from Mexico. Many will recognize him from Desire Pearl. He has opened for Pitbull and many other acts in Mexico and we are super excited to have him join the lineup as well. We are still rolling out dj's as well as additional amenities. We have a guest list from across the U.S. once again joining us this year. Plus RWB Vodka will be rolling out their race cars for this event. So great sexy photo op's for all the couples attending this year. |
