DJ's Corner More house/EDM, please

All of the Dp dj's play EDM/house. Although on a normal Dp event we start playing alot of that later in the evening. As we have found the crowd needs to get warmed up first. Meaning mixing and mingling, having a few drinks and getting comfortable. But we scroll beatport, BPM and other charts pulling the latest and hottest dance hits. Dj O had the dance floor packed this past weekend as we saw that the mood of the crowd supported more dance style house music and that is the direction we went early. Although we still mix in top 40 hip hop, radio edit top 40 dance etc.. We like to throw in our beatport remixes as much as possible. 

I might also suggest to keep an eye on the lineup for Purgatory if you love EDM. We are pulling in the hottest  of the hot H3lium Dj's once again and this is what they do the best. We are bringing back Lizzie Curious and she is all over Beatport. Plus we just had Scotty Boy for our annual Christmas party. Dropcap will be closing out the April 5th event and he is a part of H3lium as well. So we whole heartedly agree with you. 

So we appeal to a very broad audience but we are always trying to throw in more EDM vocal house if the majority of the crowd supports it. We let the dance floor dictate what direaction we go in. A smart dj realizes that. lol But we agree it tends to move and cater to those sexy bodies. Thanks for the post.
