8th annual Houston Halloween Erotica Ball Houston Halloween Hotel Group Block
| Okay, no bluff and no huff. We are almost sold out of rooms and we are going to sell this thing out at 120 rooms. This way we have floors 7,8, 9 and 10. We will not expand the group as we would have to skip floors 5 and 6 because of outstanding reservations on those floors. So we have no desire to separate the group block on different consecutive floors. We have never booked so many rooms before and we thank you. So grab the remaining rooms as we are almost sold out and will be that way well before the party. |
| We are at 104 room reservations and looking to close out the group block with a 120 rooms reserved. Which will give us five party floors. Everyone will get a meet n greet letter from your party hosts upon checking in. It will have transportation times, mixer details at the hotel bar etc... Check in is at 3pm and the party starts then. For those making it out on Friday night to Uptown Lounge. Then you have amped it up for a full party weekend and one that you will definitely not forget. | Latest and greatest is 95 rooms in the group block. Hotel has agreed to add another group floor to the block as we still have another week to go. Booking links can be found in this forum topic in a earlier post. You can also click on the Halloween flier and scroll down until you see the booking links there also. Just click on "reservations" and it will take you to the hotel booking page. Please remember that transportation is provided at no extra charge to and from the club. So party as hard as you want to and leave the driving to us. |
| Just a reminder that even though we are doing a Pre Halloween meet n greet on Friday night. We will still have a meet n greet on Saturday before the Halloween party. This is for everyone checking into the hotel for the group block. The time is from 430pm-6ish. So two mixers this year before the main party to meet everyone before the costumes go on. |
| We now have 87 rooms reserved in the group block leaving 13 rooms left in the original group block. Sometime later this week we will start looking at the feasibility of blocking another group floor giving us another 30 plus rooms. The closer it gets to the party the more crazy it gets on the reservations. As mentioned before we suggest you book early as we have already surpassed reservations at this time last year. At this pace we will definitely get to a sold out status on the group as the hotel only has X amount of rooms available to our group. |
| Okay people are responding in record numbers. We now have 73 rooms reserved in the group block which leaves us 27 rooms in our 100 group block. We are working with the hotel to see if its possible to add more rooms. But here is the important part. We got 7 more suites released and once these are gone they are gone leaving only deluxe rooms. | Okay we have surpassed 60 rooms in the group block. Just got the hotel to agree to give us at least 100 rooms in the group block and we also requested for them to release more suites as well. So as soon as we get the okay we will update the booking link for more suites. However this will be the last release of suites unless we surpass four floors which covers the 100 rooms. Let everyone know soon. Oh and if not interested in a suite and just want a deluxe room in the party block. No worries, just click on the reservation link posted in this forum and or go to the party info and use the link there. We have approximately thirty-five rooms left. |
| Spoke to the hotel today and suites are sold out. So deluxe rooms are the only room category remaining. We have blocked four floors thus far and have made plans to go to a fifth and sixth floor when necessary. So definitely shaping up to be a very huge hotel block party. We will continue to post updates several times a week to keep everyone updated. |

| We received our first room count in the group block. We currently have 51 rooms in the group block. Which means two party floors fully booked and we are starting to book our third. It definitely appears that we will surpass last years 120 rooms in the group block. Which made for incredible before and after parties. If you haven't booked your room yet it's really easy. Just click on the Halloween party flier on the main page. Scroll down thru the party info and you will see where there are booking links that are click able. Just select which room category you wish, make your reservations and you are automatically put in the group block. There is also a phone number which you can call to request the "Dp Group Block". Plus don't forget to check in early and get ready for the Pre Party mixer at the hotel bar starting at 430pm. |
| Going to do a thread this year on the hotel group block. As we always get alot of first time questions wishing to know what to expect. Last year we booked over 120 rooms into the group block. This year we expect to do that or more. The Marriott has been our host hotel for the last several years and they go all out to help us host a organized event. We place everyone in the group on consecutive floors. For those who have not stayed at the Marriott in the past. It is something to see. As there is a atrium that is in the middle of all of the rooms. Meaning that rather than long narrow hallways. You can see everyone on all four sides of the atrium. Which definitely helps create a party attitude as you can see which floors have the most people partying on them. We encourage people to decorate their doorways in a Halloween fashion, put up their screen names on their door if they are on the Dp site etc....Many decorate their rooms. Which helps amp up the party atmosphere. We also help everyone to get to know everyone by hosting a mix n mingle at the hotel bar from 430pm-6pm. This mixer is always attended by a vast majority as many only get to see each other once or twice a year. With so many attending from around the state and across the U.S. Plus it is a time to see who is who before the costumes go on. It also helps to get the party started early so you are ready to hit the dance floor at the club once you walk in the door. Plus for one of the best parts and that is the Limo transportation to and from the party. Limo's arrive at 8pm and start taking party quests to the club. So no drinking and driving. Just all partying. As we have learned from parties past. We let everyone host their own after parties. That way everyone can set their own limits. But no worries as their are always plenty of after parties if you are so inclined. As last year we had over five floors of party fun going on into the wee hours of the night.
