Purgatory prep meeting at the hotel today. Covered Purgatory prep from A to Z. Reminder you have until June 11th to cancel your room without penalty as all rooms are fully charged on June 12th. Please remember to update your c.c. on file with the hotel if it has changed. Payment declines are given a 6 day grace period as they will try and contact you. On June 18th if the hotel cannot charge your c.c. for the room it will be cancelled. Also if you are staying on Cabana section which required a 3 night reservation and you cancel one or two nights. Then your reservation is moved to the tower section of the hotel. For those still waiting on room availability thanks for your patience. Did a walk through at the DoubleTree today with the new D.O.S.. He is excited about our group and this event. He brought forth some great new design ideas for the Purgatory Middle Ground (esplanade for the common folk, lol). Plus new bar ideas for the grand ballroom. He realizes that many couples are still needing rooms and like me, he expects more cancellations closer to the June 12th deadline. This is the first year that we sold out by the end of March. We are finalizing dj timelines for Friday and Saturday and still have a announcement or two regarding additional dj's as well. Just a friendly reminder to everyone who has existing hotel reservations for Purgatory. You have until June 11th to cancel your reservation without penalty. On June 12th all hotel reservations are charged to your c.c. in full. If you have a existing Cabana section room and you cancel one or two of the three mandatory stay nights. Your reservation will be moved to the tower section of the hotel. We initiated this cancellation policy this year in fairness to those needing a room. As people would wait until the last day to cancel forcing those who were trying to travel in and could not due to non availability of rooms. So this is fair to everyone and helps smooth out the process so everyone can have a great event.

We are currently sold out of hotel rooms for Purgatory. We are not doing a secondary hotel. As we are selling tickets based on our occupancy. As rooms cancel they are put back into the inventory automatically. So no waiting list. All rooms have to be paid in full by June 12th. So yes, we do expect some rooms to cancel. We blocked 260 rooms this year and over half of those are double bed rooms. So we are expecing a huge crowd that will surpass last year.

Here is the latest update for Purgatory 2018. We are down to the last 41 rooms and then we are sold out for 2018. Discounted pre sale tickets have also been released and we are tiering up the price every 35 couples who purchase. So first to purchase get the best sale price. We are now on the second tier of pricing on 3 day tickets and almost sold out on first tier pricing on 2 day tickets.  

Ok party people. You are booking Purgatory at a record pace this year so a huge thank you. We have 87 kings and 21 double beds left in our hotel group block. The suites are all sold out now. So if you have a preference I would book it sooner rather than later. As we have booked over 40 rooms in the last two weeks. Cabana section rooms have now Sold  Out. Tower section rooms have now been released and the booking link can be found by clicking on the Purgatory flier. 

We have 16 rooms left in the Cabana section of the hotel before that area is sold out. After that we will release Tower section rooms which will consist of 7 consecutive floors. 

Pool view Cabana Section rooms are now sold out. Non pool view Cabana section rooms are now available on the site. Tower section rooms will be released next week. 

With the huge success of the past two years. Purgatory, Heaven or Hell, party weekend has become a international event. As we had couples attend from all fifty states last year as well as Europe, Sout America and Canada. So we are rolling out full party details early this year. 

We have limited pool view cabana section room remaining. To reserved one you must email info@desirousparty.com to request the special form. 

Within the next 36 hours we will update the site with booking links for Cabana section non pool view rooms as well as Tower section hotel rooms. Please note changes this year for hotel room reservations. Cabana section requires a three night reservation for this area of the hotel. Tower section requires a two night reservation of Friday, Saturday in order to reserve a room. All rooms will be charged in full on June 12th, 2018 this year. Meaning you have until June 11th, 2018 to cancel your room without penalty. After June 12th, 2018 rooms are not refundable. If you cancel one or two nights on a Cabana section room then you will lose your reservation on the Cabana section and be moved to the Tower section if there is availability. We have made these changes due to last minute cancellations which stopped many people from traveling in for the event as they could not book a room. So to be fair to everyone we have instituted new reservation rules. 

This year all three days will be held at the host hotel. The party starts as soon as you set down your bags. So booking a room will only amp your party experience in 2018. We have been given over 250 hotel rooms this year and we expect to sell out well in advance of the event.
