Just a little F.Y.I. on new upcoming events at Lastrada. DP will be transitioning to Saturday's in the near future.Our plan is to have one Saturday party at TMZ a month and the remaining Saturdays be at Lastrada. This will give us a central location and also a northend location to host our parties and make it easy for everyone to come out.
Our goal is host a theme event at TMZ and then one theme event at Lastrada a month. The remainder of the time will be non theme parties with different DJ's at Lastrada.
We want to give everyone a different club twist where you can come in for dinner or dessert before hand and then move into a club atmosphere at 10pm. Plus we will be able to give everyone a different look and feel as sometimes we take over just the rooftop area or if the weather does not permit, take over the downstairs area. Our ultimate goal is to have a club atmosphere on both levels so that you the guest can have two different club experiences in the same location. The DJ's will transition their music throughout the night which will appease everyone and put the female body on the dance floor.
We will also be offering bottle service which will give you a reserved area. We have a few ideas on bottle service that will work nicely with our crowd and be a nice little twist. Our party guests have been asking for something similar to this for several years and we are happy to finally be able to provide it. So bear with us as I am sure that we will have a few little details to work out in the beginning. But rest assured that we want your feedback and we will make this a club experience and atmosphere where you will feel and be treated in a vip fashion.
October 18th will be our only "Saturday" party at Lastrada this month. The theme will be called Vanilla Crush and will be a all white event. DJ Josh Dupont will be in the booth for this event. More details coming very soon on the main page.

We just hope that events at the Ritz will not be cancelled or discontinued in the future. We (and a few other couples we have talked about this with) LOVE the Ritz. Full Service Bar, no required memberships in addition to entrance fees and BYOB, additional "entertainment" and the 2nd floor for couples/ladies only. We loved having that floor to ourselves with the option to go mingle with the single men dowstairs if we so desired!
We look forward to going on the 18th to check out the new venue though! I've heard a lot of things about it! :-)

The main question everyone wants to know is what thy can or cannot wear to the events as Lastrada is a restaurant. The first thing I like to point out is that Lastrada is located within the Montrose and the museum district areas. So they are used to the extravagant, flamboyant, edgy attitudes and attire. Lastrada is geared on Saturday nights toward the crowd who is out and about looking for something to do or on their way to do it. You get this impression when you walk inside and the restaurant has soft house music playing in the background, a full active bar and large groups of people eating dinner together. Its a active upscale crowd who is looking for a good time.
With that said the restaurant starts shutting down at 10pm and they have given DesirousParty full reins of both levels of the restaurant at that point. So if you are coming in after 10pm and you are wearing something revealing such as a lacey garment with pasties underneath. Just throw a coat over the top of it and after 10pm the party will be in full swing and there will be no worries. At the same time if you want to dress to impress with a revealing plunging neckline that you could not wear elsewhere for dinner. Then coming in early for dinner and then moving upstairs to the ultra lounge will be no problem either.
Now for the other question. The weather is getting colder and most of our parties will be in the rooftop ultra lounge. We are already geared to drop the side of the lounge down and have large tower space heaters. Plus we will be making the downstairs area into another lounge atmosphere with large red couch vip seating areas. So no matter where you are you will be able to hear the music of DJ Eddie Spettro.
We ask the guys to always dress to impress and the ladies may dress as they desire. With that said and from past DP events. The ladies know that there is nothing to wild in their attire for this crowd. Because the more risque the fashion the more energy is into the room. Because after all. DesirousParty is all about the ladies and making sure that they feel sexxy, HOT and alluring!!

We've narrowed it down to two and just seeing which one is available. Budweiser beer brands will be $3 and Scott (lounge bartender) will come up with the mixed drink special that night. As he likes to get creative from time to time and throw a surprise our way.
The restaurant will stop seating guests upstairs in the lounge area at 8pm. However if you tell them you are with the DesirousParty group they will seat you upstairs after that time if you so wish. This way the upstairs lounge area will be for DP party guests only after 930pm.

This made two consecutive events at Lastrada where we pulled a very select whose who HOT crowd. Kudo's to DJ's Seismyc and Eddie Spettro who definitely put some energy into the rooftop terrace. REPLYQUOTE After a two month break we are heading back to Lastrada for our R.P.M. Desrious party. The group had a very busy July so we are back to the parties on the terrace at Lastrada. As its August and the weather can we warm at night. The club has put up more fans to circulate the cool night air on the terrace. Plus there will be no other groups in house after the restaurant closes and we will have access to both levels of the venue.
DJ's Eddie Spettro and Seismyc are back for round three. These two DJ's definitely put the south beach Miami feel into Lastrada. It's going to be a very sexxy evening as one can only imagine the attire the ladies will be wearing for their own selection of RockStars, PornStars and MovieStars.
