Q: We are new to all of this and do not know anyone. So any suggestions?

A: We have so many new faces attend every event. This is a nice boutique intimate venue where everyone merges together pool side or on the dance floor. So great and perfect way to meet others for the first time. Just put a smile on your face, hang around the bar area or jump into the pool where everyone congregates. You will meet plenty of great people meeting each other for the very first time. 

Q: Are pool view rooms still available. 

A: No, sorry, pool view rooms sold out several months ago. However this is a huge event and there is not a bad room in the group block. As the party will be all over and not just in one spot. With a group block surpassing 170 plus rooms there is plenty of fun for all no matter where you are at. 

Q: Are rooms still available for this weekend's events. 

A: Yes, we still have some rooms still available. Just use the booking link found in the events section as it will place you into the group block. 

The hotel has given us another group floor. So we have added an additional 28 rooms to the group block. The booking link can be accessed by clicking on the party flier and scrolling downward. Please ignore the June 27th date as the discounted group rate is being honored. 

We got the hotel to extend the group block discounted rate thru the event or until rooms sell out. If you are staying in the group block please list everyone staying in your room. As we will have security asking for room keys, checking room list. etc... As we wish to stop unwanted hotel party guests who are not part of our group from crashing the event and gives our guests a sense of security as well. So please add everyone whom is staying in your room to the list. This helps us to usher these guests out of the hotel. This is never a huge problem but helps us to prevent it from being so. 

We just surpassed 150 rooms reserved in the group block. The group rate is guaranteed through June 27th and we are in the process of trying to get that date extended as well as add more rooms to the original 175 room group block. We have a nationwide guest list flying in for the event this year. Over the last two years the word has really gotten out about the Purgatory summer event and we thank everyone for spreading the word. We have strived really hard in putting this Dj list together this year and the hotel and Dp staff are working hard together to make this another epic event. 

This year we have blocked our largest group block to date for Purgatory weekend. We have expanded to a 175 room group block with the option to expand to 250 rooms if necessary. The hotel was branded DoubleTree in 2013 and had to under go a multi million dollar remodel to take on this hotel name. All rooms, ball rooms and amenities have undergone a complete makeover. We have blocked off all rooms in the cabana pool area as well as several floors in the tower. We have hired our own security team for the night time events as well as bringing back our door staff from the last two years. I mention this as all our staff and upper hotel management is familiar with our group's sophistication, upscale nature and the ever present party attitude. So with we are going all out this year with the dj lineup and super exicited about bringing back the 9th annual Purgatory event to the DoubleTree.
